How It Started...

In December of 2016 we both downloaded the appthat would change our lives: Tinder!(Dani didn't even swipe right...)Through the aid of some amazing friends, we started sending GIFs back and forth. Though it was the holiday season, we made sure to stay connected. Dylan scheduled our first official date for January 14, 2017.We met at Crows, saw Onepiece Gold (an anime movie) at Alamo Drafthouse, shopped at Clint's Comics, played some coin at Up Down Arcade Bar, then ended the evening at Pizza 51 with a couple of Cowtown slices. Our first date lasted about 10 hours.

Through the years we have had many ups, downs, sideways, and zigzags. Our friends and family have been there through it all and we are extremely grateful. We cannot wait to celebrate with everyone on 5/10, 2025! ﻿

Yes, plural! Dylan custom designed Dani's ring but it was lost in the mail. He wanted to propose before seeing her family on Easter, so he got a second ring as a placeholder. After a few weeks the original ring was found and delivered. We went to the Majestic, our very first fancypants date spot, and Dylan proposed a second time.

As written in Dani's fourth grade diary, her 'Bestest Friend' Savanna will be standing right next to her. 
From fourth grade, to high school, to sharing a college dorm and then an apartment, to becoming pet moms, to buying houses and getting married, we've done it all together while eating a lot of cheese.

The second sister in the Coronado clan, Alicia and Dani are only 20 months apart in age.  They learned a lot together: piano, acting in musicals, and dancing. They love to perform! Obviously, they will be tearing up the dance floor at the wedding.

The final sibling of the Coronado clan, Katie is the youngest and most important sibling (obviously). Dani taught Katie everything she knows... and Katie has taught Dani a lot, too.  Now, it is time to teach them how to be a bride's person!

Dani's oldest friend, they met in August of 1999 and have been friends ever since. Chelsi and Dani have gone through every elementary/ middle/ high school dramatic trope together, and possibly know way too much about each other; but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Dani met Shelby floating on a giant cherry in their mid-twenties.  Soon, they became roommates! Quickly, they dubbed their house the Peanut Butter Palace, and made some of the best memories of Kansas City- especially the shared birthday parties.

Yes,&nbsp;not&nbsp;a&nbsp;florist,&nbsp;not&nbsp;quite&nbsp;an&nbsp;herbalist,&nbsp;but&nbsp;an&nbsp;herbist!&nbsp;As&nbsp;avid&nbsp;home&nbsp;cooks,&nbsp;we&nbsp;have&nbsp;opted&nbsp;for&nbsp;bouquet&nbsp;garni&nbsp;instead&nbsp;of&nbsp;flowers.&nbsp;Dani's&nbsp;childhood&nbsp;friend,&nbsp;Maggie,&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;arranging&nbsp;these&nbsp;delectable&nbsp;herbs.&nbsp;We&nbsp;hope&nbsp;you&nbsp;enjoy&nbsp;the&nbsp;good&nbsp;smells!

Obviously, we need to include our sweetest Powerpuff Pup in our wedding!  Blossom has been with us since the very beginning, 2017, when Dani brought her home on Cinco de Mayo (now celebrated as Cinco de Blossom).

Luz has been Dani's pseudo-daughter for the past decade.  Dani was Luz's art teacher, but their friendship continued post-secondary- Dani even officiated Luz's wedding! We felt it was appropriate for Dani's daughter to walk our DOGter down the aisle.

For our Kansas City folk, we highly recommend taking the Amtrak to St. Louis! The Missouri River Runner is very accessible and low cost.*Arrive at least 15 minutes early to ensure you catch your train!!!

Probably our favorite spot in St. Louis! Made from recycled and discarded materials, the City Museum is a living, breathing, interactive sculpture! Explore the caves, the 10-story slide, the outdoor playground (Monstrocity), the artful and historic collections, and the bars!

The newest National Park, the Gateway Arch is a must see in St. Louis! The newly renovated museum has plenty of StL/ Midwest history, but the most historical practice is climbing 63 stories in the Tram to the Top!

One of the largest green spaces in StL, Tower Grove is a historic and beautiful park! Dani has spent many mornings hiking along the trail. Go around the world with the various pavilions, or picnic in the green! There are wonderful food spots, too, on/ off of South Grand Ave.

One of our top StL spots, the Soulard Maket is another lively historic space downtown. This farmers market has fresh produce, baked goods, local sauces, and plenty of artisan goods for sale! We highly recommend!

Comida Peruana? How about the best in town? And what if the Bride did some art for the restaurateur?! Though we may be bias, there is truly no pollo more authentic than that of Brasas. We highly recommend the papas rellenas y anticuchos (if they don't run out!).

You liked the City Museum? Well, this is the art of the City Museum as a BAR! Made of found objects and mosaics, make sure to look up, down, left, and right as you listen to some live music and enjoy a nice drink. THIS IS A CASH ONLY BAR!

This address is specifically for our favorite sandwich shop, Gioias Deli- but you can't go wrong anywhere on The Hill. This neighborhood hosts some of the best Italian restaurants in the city. A great area to eat!

Breakfast time? Strange Donuts is one of our favorite stops for some quick breakfast sweets. They also own a late night shop, Up Late, which is open from 8 pm - 4 am (a great post-wedding snack!).

Just outside of the city, Laumier Sculpture Park is a beautiful place to walk. Dani grew up going here and seeing these large outdoor sculptures!

Want to travel a little further? Cahokia Mounds is a historic landmark near St. Louis. Cahokia was a large, thriving, pre-colonial city. The mounds are amazing to see, and hike!

Even further, you say?! Well, take a trip south of St. Louis to Elephant Rocks state park. Part of an old mining town, these rocks are truly GIANT! Spend a day hiking and climing around these large boulders.
