The dress code for the wedding is Semi-Formal or Dressy Casual. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses and the men should wear dress shirts and dress pants or a polo and golf shorts.

We have a strict guest list due to venue capacity. We will only be able to accommodate those on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Children are warmly invited to the event if they are included on the invitation, appear under your name when you RSVP, or have a fill in option when you RSVP. Please know we love all of your children but have limited space at the venue.

The ceremony will be outdoors in the back of the venue along the Cedar River. If there is inclement weather, the ceremony will take place at St. Paul's Lutheran Church & School. The reception will be indoors at the Waverly Area Veterans Post.

Because guests will be coming from many different locations, using GPS will be to your advantage. Plug in the venue name or address and it will create directions tailored to help you best travel.

Guests should arrive by 3:45 p.m. Please give yourself plenty of time to arrive, park, grab a drink, and be seated. The venue is easily accessible for all but will require a few extra steps than you might be used to.

We have hired our favorite high schoolers to drive guests from the venue to their respective hotels or downtown to the bars following the dance. Waverly does not have Uber or Lyft. Please plan your evening accordingly. Vehicles can remain at the venue overnight.

Please RSVP using this website by our deadline of July 24, 2024. If you don't and show up please plan to bring your own PB&J. We appreciate you helping us secure food and drinks numbers!

Enjoy a family-style served meal of roast beef or chicken cordon bleu, mashed potatoes with sour cream & chives, green beans w/bacon, cowboy beans, lettuce salad, and a dinner roll.
