This is the story of how they met. Dani was over at her sister Christina’s one night to workout. Following the workout, she tried to leave many times but kept getting pulled back into a tv show her sister and Brother-in-law were watching - “The Flight Attendant”. After several episodes, she went to leave, but her car was completely frozen shut due to an ice storm and she ended up staying the night.

The next morning Dani left for work and Christina took her kids to the bus stop. At the bus stop, she talked with a fellow neighbor, Jenn, about how good the show “The Flight Attendant” was. She mentioned that it was so good that her sister Dani ended up watching the whole thing and spending the night. Realizing that Christinas sister stayed the night on a weeknight Jenn’s antennas went up thinking Dani may not be in a relationship. After confirming that Dani was indeed single, Jenn mentioned her single brother, Brett. The two immediately began playing matchmaker.



Later that week Brett got a call from his sister telling him about her interaction that morning. She was excited to tell Brett that she had someone he should meet. A few more days went by before Brett was able to build up the courage to send the awkward hello text.



After a week or two of staying up way too late texting back and forth, Brett really wanted to meet Dani and he knew hed be in Grand Rapids soon. He quickly found time to meet Dani. The two met at a small cafe on the east side of Grand Rapids. It didn’t take long for them to get comfortable with each other and after a few minutes they both knew the other person was something special. After lunch they did not want the date to end so the two decided to go for a walk. 8 miles later and a few massive blisters on both ankles, they finally decided to stop, knowing this would not be the last time they saw each other.
