Are children invited?

No, we kindly ask that anyone under 21 does not attend.

Will travel arrangements be provided?

Please plan to arrange your own travel and accommodations. While the wedding will take place in a rural area, there are plenty of lodging options in nearby towns—Athens is a great choice! We don’t anticipate any issues with availability, but if you run into any trouble or have questions, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Absolutely, go for it! We’d love for everyone to snap away and capture special moments throughout the evening. Just a couple of things: please make sure your phone is on silent during the ceremony, and try not to block the view of our professional photographer—they’ve got the big shots covered! 😊

Will dinner be served?

The event will be very casual, and dinner will be no different! We’ll have a self-serve, buffet-style meal—think tacos or fajitas—available for everyone to enjoy at their own pace. There won’t be a formal sit-down dinner, but we promise no one will leave hungry. Psssttt...Please be sure to inform us if you have special dietary needs.

Where are you registered?

We are not creating a traditional gift registry. If you’d like to give a gift, a small contribution toward our first home or honeymoon would mean so much to us. You can find more details on the registry page.

What attire should I plan for?

Think comfortable yet polished. You’re all close friends and family who know us well, so we trust you’ll strike the perfect balance. The wedding will be outdoors, so feel free to skip the heels! Look your best, feel your best—that’s all we ask. And let’s be real... you’ve been to a wedding before. You’ve got this! (Bring your swimsuit for after the ceremony!)

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

We're keeping it simple. Please kindly RSVP online via the push notification link. No paper invitations are being sent. *Please, kindly RSVP no later than July 25th

What date should I RSVP by?

RSVP Deadline is July 25th, 2025

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

The venue is a private residence with minimal on-site parking. Plenty of overflow parking will be available at the nearby City Hall building, and we’ll have a shuttle running before and after the event to transport guests to and from the venue. Carpooling, where possible, is encouraged.

Where will wedding updates be posted?

Any updates to the wedding itinerary will be shared on our website, and we’ll send push notifications for any significant changes. Additionally, you’ll receive reminders for important tasks, like submitting your RSVP.

What is the wedding day itinerary?

Guests are welcome to arrive as early as 5:00 PM, but we kindly ask that everyone arrive by 5:30 PM at the latest. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 PM, followed by an evening of celebration. Festivities will continue until 10:00 PM.

Should I bring anything?

We want you to be comfortable and enjoy yourself—here are a few things you might want to pack: Swimsuit – It’s a lakehouse! There’s a pool and hot tub, so bring a suit if you'd like to take a dip after the ceremony. Sunscreen – The ceremony will be outdoors before the sun has set, and the Texas sun doesn't mess around. Drinks – We’ll provide water and a basic selection of sodas, but there will not be a bar, and likely no alcohol will be served. If you’d like to enjoy alcoholic beverages, please feel free to bring your own. Other Helpful Tips: Comfortable shoes – Expect grass, gravel, and uneven ground. Light layers – It will be warm during the daylight hours and possibly cooler in the evening. Hat or sunglasses – Shade could be limited in some areas. Bug Spray will be provided in excess!!
