Our favorite restaurant for brunch, dinner, and everything in between!
Our other favorite restaurants include:
*Talula's Garden: Lori's favorite restaurant
*White Dog Cafe: Harley's favorite restaurant, worth the trip up to University City
*Monk's Cafe: best burgers, mussels, and fries
*Butcher and Singer: classic steakhouse
The BEST cheesesteaks in Philly
You can't leave philly without getting a cheesesteak! Pat's and Geno's are the originals and famous for their rivalry, but Jim's is our personal favorite. Make sure you place your order correctly (here's a guide if you want to practice beforehand)
Worth the trek to University City to check out their collection of Egyptian and other ancient artifacts. Penn was involved in some of the earliest excavations of ancient Egypt, so their collection is amazing! Fun fact: Danica never actually visited this museum while at school and went for the first time with Justin in 2018.
Other great options to check out during the day are:
*Philadelphia Museum of Art: in addition to the great collection, make sure to take a picture on the steps with Rocky and check out the sculpture garden
The BEST ice cream--Danica recommends hydrox cookie, but they are known for the Mt Vesuvius sundae
Also check out:
*Reading Terminal Market: historic market with lots of local vendors in a landmark building
Philly's first microbrewery with great pizza (we recommend the fig jam!)
*The Franklin Bar: make sure to check out the Upstairs Bar, the only Tiki Bar in Philly, located above the cocktail bar
