We had been sitting next to each other the for the past two months, but had never spoken. But that changed on October 8th of 2010 when the first test of college, micro-economics to be exact, came back.

Neither of us had done as well as we would have liked, and were looking for someone to commiserate with. A conversation was sparked, which led to lunch after class, and then, to study sessions throughout the rest of the semester.

At the end of the semester, John asked Danica to go to a party with him as his date. She said "Yes". Six and a half years later she said "Yes" again - this time to spending the rest of her life with him.
