We met through our friend and now matron of honor, Michelle. Michelle and Dan first met when they both moved to Atlanta in 2019. Mackenzie met Michelle on Mackenzie’s first day of work at Emory. From a maximum 15-minute conversation with Michelle, Michelle texted Dan that night saying, “I just met this girl Mackenzie…you need to love her”. And so that began our story.

We met at Neighbors, a local bar, in October of 2020 and quickly started going on dates afterwards. We bonded over our love of exploring Atlanta together, whether that meant going to a new restaurant opening, finding a pop-up bar or enjoying one of the many festivals Atlanta has to offer.

Dan proposed during our trip to Italy together. What was an already amazing experience was topped off with Dan getting down on one knee at the Molino Di Sant’Antimo vineyard in Tuscany as Mackenzie was admiring the rolling hills of Montalcino. It was the perfect picturesque moment.

We want to thank all of our friends and families who have supported us and been with us over the years. We cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with you all!
