When should I make my hotel reservation?
We kindly suggest that you book your room as soon as possible, since unbooked rooms may be given to a marathon guest. We have discounted rates available in a room block at the Westin Book Cadillac (see 'Travel' tab).
Any flight recommendations?
We recommend that your book your return flight out of Detroit (DTW) after 2pm on 10/20/24, if possible, to avoid local road closures.
Any meal recommendations?
We recommend that you book dinner/drink reservations ahead of time for the night before the wedding (10/18/24) and for lunch on the day of the wedding (10/19/24) since local restaurants are expected to be busier than usual. Check out the 'Our Favorite Restaurants' tab for our favorite local spots!
What time does the wedding ceremony start?
The wedding ceremony starts promptly at 6PM, so please plan accordingly.
How will I get to the wedding venue from the Westin Book Cadillac?
Transportation will be provided from the Westin Book Cadillac to the Detroit Institute of Art (DIA) and back.
How can I get to the wedding venue if I am not staying at the hotel?
There will be on-site valet parking provided at the wedding venue.
