I met Devani through zoom during the pandemic. We studied the watchtower with a large group of friends through Zoom every Friday. I had a crush on her from the start. I would look for any excuse to text her just to talk to her for a short period of time. With time we started dating and although we enjoyed our relationship we both decided to end it and grow individually and be friends. I took the time to grow and meet some of my spiritual goals. I would see her once in a while since we had mutual friends, but we never really talked. It wasn’t until one of my best friends had his first talk I went to her congregation and saw her again and saw how she was with the older sisters and saw her shining in her congregation. I started talking to her little by little and finding any excuse to call her or text her. Shortly after I asked her to be my girlfriend and 6 months later I asked her to marry me.

During the pandemic I connected on zoom with friends to do letter writing and study the watchtower. I met Danny on that zoom group through our friend Jesus. Danny and I started talking more and more and we became really close. He truly stood out among the guys, when we finally hung out in person I remember loving how Danny was with my parents. He's such an outgoing and funny person, anyone who knows him knows he is an amazing person. He truly stands up and cares for the people he loves. As I got to know him I fell in love with him, we then learned the feelings were mutual. We dated for about a year, and although we still loved each other so much we decided to end our relationship. We took the time to grow in every aspect of our lives, and it truly was needed. Danny and I remained friends, not only is his sister my best friend but we also have a lot of mutual friends. I was able to see how amazing Danny was doing, he was completing many of his goals and was becoming truly the best version of himself. I never stopped loving him, I always had a special place in my heart for him and hoped one day we could get another chance. Truly Jehovah is perfect with his timing because we slowly started realizing again how much we loved being with each other and how much we knew we wanted to be in each others lives. We started dating again in December 2023, and Daniel proposed to me in June of 2024. I cannot wait to start this new chapter with him, I know life will be fun by his side everyday.
