Daniel and I started as email pen pals after Daniel's sister and my friend, Lea, introduced us. Daniel's first email came at the end of November 2018. We emailed for several months and finally had a chance to meet in person in April 2019.

I traveled to Portland, where Daniel lives, over Labor Day to visit Daniel and our friendship was instantaneous. We talked over email, text, and the phone and met again when Daniel came to Idaho for Thanksgiving.

I was again able to visit Daniel in Portland for Valentine's Day when my niece and sister went to visit a college. God was working in both of us and the time was right for Daniel to ask me to be his girlfriend.

Daniel came at the beginning of March to meet my parents and we also were able to spend some time with his parents. He traveled back this way in July and the first thing he did was take me to a park in Boise. In a very blessed and romantic moment, Daniel proposed on the 4th of July. We were able to spend more time together with our families and started planning for our future together.
