What time should I arrive to the cermony?
As stated on your formal invitation, our ceremony will begin at 3:30 PM. We suggest you arrive at the venue about 10-15 minutes before the ceremony. This will allow you enough time to find a seat and mingle with other guests!
What is the dress code?
We are recommending semi-formal attire for our celebration. We want everyone to look their best and be as comfortable as possible!
Is the ceremony/reception indoors or outdoors?
If the weather permits, the ceremony outdoors, while the reception will be held indoors. If bad weather strikes, our ceremony will be moved indoors, and the venue will be flipped from ceremony to reception during cocktail hour.
What is cocktail hour?
Cocktail hour is the period of time immediately following the ceremony when the bride, groom, and their immediate family will be getting their pictures taken. During this time, everyone can head from the ceremony site to the reception site. Don’t forget to pass through the stables! Our venue just happens to be the home of several star race horses, which you will be able to see and pet during our cocktail hour!
Is there parking available at the wedding venue?
Yes! There is a grassy area between the stables and the reception site with plenty of space for everyone to park. There will also be attendants that will direct you where you should park.
Can I bring my children?
Unless otherwise specified on your formal invitation, we ask that you do not bring your children. We would like this to be a fun, relaxing, and stress free time for everyone!
Will there be alcohol?
Drinks are on us! We will have an open bar with beer, wine, and bride/groom signature drink options. Bride’s choice: Tequila Sunrise. Groom’s choice: Whiskey and Coke. Don’t forget to tip the bartender!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
No. We have hired a professional photographer to capture our ceremony, and these photos will be posted on social media at a later date for everyone to enjoy. During the reception however, take as many photos as you please! Don’t forget to tag the happy couple! #theheberts2024
What is the best way to RSVP?
We’ve made the process easy for you! You can RSVP right here on our website! Click on the RSVP tab, type your name in the text box, select your choice, then submit! If your invitation is addressed to multiple people, you only need to search one name, and all the others will come up as well. There will also be RSVP cards included in your formal invitation that you can return by mail if you prefer!
When is the RSVP deadline?
As stated in your formal invitation, we ask that you RSVP no later than August 30, 2024. This is so we can give an accurate head count to our venue and caterer. If you do not RSVP by this date, we will assume that you are unable to attend.
When will the reception end?
We will have four hours of reception time on our wedding day. Our 30 minute ceremony will begin at 3:30 PM, and the reception will begin immediately after. The event will be concluded by 8PM.
Do you have a wedding registry?
We have been blessed with more than we need for our home together. Instead of a traditional wedding registry, we have opted for a “honeymoon fund.” All monetary gifts we receive will be used to help us create our very first memories as husband and wife! If you would like to send us a gift, click on the registry tab, click on the honeymoon fund, and enter the amount that you would like to gift. You will then be prompted to enter your credit card information, just like ordering products online! There is a small processing fee associated with this, but 100% of your gift goes directly to the couple. If you prefer to gift with cash or check, there will be a gift box during the reception that you can drop your gift into! Please remember that we are not expecting anything. Your presence at our celebration is the greatest gift we could ask for.
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay in budget. Our celebration is strictly by RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your formal invitation. Thank you for understanding!
I still have questions! What is the best way to contact you?
For your convenience, we have created a wedding email that you can direct any questions or concerns to. Just send us an email at theheberts2024@gmail.com and we will get back to you as soon as we can!
