TO OUR FAMILY & FRIENDS We created this website as a way for you to have as much information about our wedding day, the hotel, the parks, tips, traveling, room accommodation and RSVP for your convince. Each section will give you inside information to plan your ultimate trip to paradise. We cannot thank you enough for taking the time and commitment to save and plan for this very special event. We know a destination wedding can be a lot to ask of our loved ones. We promise we have spent months of research and meticulous planning to take you on an extraordinary, tropical journey a dream vacation that will not disappoint. We are honored to have you join us for this “once in a lifetime” event.

Welcome & Thank You

We reserved a room block at a special rate at the resort with our travel agent yellow umbrella events. After you RSVP, you will need to book your room on our travel website by October 23, 2023. This ensures you have the best rates and RSVP’D to all wedding activities including transportation. **At this time, we do have a few rooms still available. If the rooms are not assigned by October 23, 2023 they get released back to the hotel. That way we don’t incur a fee for holding them.** If you have any questions or problems/concerns about rooms, check in pleases immediately call text email Monica (Your travel agent). Xcaret Hotel Mexico

Round-trip airport (CUN) transportation is also included as well as round-trip transportation to Isla Mujeres with Xcaret Xailing. Its modern boats are the most comfortable and fun way to visit the Magical Town of Isla Mujeres. PACKING SUGGESTIONS From our experience visiting Hotel Xcaret, along with others who have visited, we put together suggestions and things to keep in mind while packing.   Water Shoes Something similar to <a href="https:" />these</a>. They have many different styles of water proof foot wear. I suggest water shoes similar to a sneaker but is water resistant. There will be a lot of walking at the resort and in the Parks. You will want to make sure that your shoes are comfortable and able to go from dry or wet easily.   Old Sunglasses This is recommended so if you lose them, it won’t be a big loss.   Nicer/Shorts/Pants/Shirt   On the The Resort under Dinning page you can see the dress code for the restaurants .     Carry on Bag In the instance that your room is not available upon arrival, due to the check-in being at 3pm, we suggest that you add the following items to your carry-on bag. Having these items on hand will give you the opportunity to enjoy the hotel while waiting for your room to become available. You’ll also be able to leave your luggage at the concierge while you explore.   -Swimsuit   -Sunscreen   -Change of clothes   TIPS AND TRICKS   Sunscreen Xcaret requests you use “reef-protection” type sunscreen, such as <a href="https:" />this</a>. This will help the environment and help preserve and regrow coral reefs. Avoid octinoxate and oxybenzone—there are many articles online about other types such as Blue Lizard and Banana Boat.   $1/$5 bills – several for tipping at restaurants, bars, room service at your discretion. There is a ATM at the hotel which only allows you to take 250$ or the pesos equivalent of 250$ within a 24 hr period.   Probiotics It is highly recommended that you can start taking a probiotic at least two weeks prior to your date of travel. This helps in seeding the helpful bacteria in the gut. This, in turn, will optimize immune function and help ensure good health while travelling. However, it is important to continue taking the probiotic throughout the travel.   First Aid Medications While some may be provided to you, it's best to keep any necessary items below on hand: Imodium Pepto Ibuprofen/Advil/Tylenol/Asprin

WHERE ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION LOCATED?  All events are at Hotel Xcaret. The ceremony will be held at Caleta Fuego. The cocktail, dinner and dance are a short walk to cave kayak. A map will be provided upon arrival.  ARE THERE OTHER WEDDING EVENTS I CAN ATTEND? Yes! - Tuesday April 23rd at 5 pm, there is a welcome party for all guests, followed by dinner and a show. We ask everyone arrive to the hotel lobby bar at 4:45 pm where you will be escorted to the welcome party. -Wedding is Wednesday April 24th at 5pm. Please arrive to the hotel lobby bar at 4:30 pm. -Thursday April 25th, tera and Daniel will be at brunch followed by the main pool at 12 pm. You are welcome to join or enjoy the resort/parks for your own personal day.  WHAT IS THE ATTIRE?  Semi-formal. Cocktail dresses. Suit jackets or blazers. This website will provide any and all information you would need when booking your stay. That way we don’t incur a fee for holding them.  ARE FLIGHTS MANAGED BY THE TRAVEL AGENT?  No! Because so many people have a preferred airline for points and miles, we are leaving flight booking up to each individual guest to choose your preferred airline. :) the nearest airport is Cancun international airport. From there a free shuttle will be provided to bring you directly to the resort. Under travel tab you will see a link to google flights for best rates and options.  WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE AROUND THIS TIME OF THE YEAR?  The temperature this time of the year on average is around 75-85 degrees with a nice breeze at night. Pack your bathing suits!  WHAT ARE THE COVID PROTOCOLS/TESTING REQUIREMENTS?  This is not a requirement to test prior to arriving at the resort. They do not have covid protocol at the resort. Masks are not required. Hand sanitizer can be found throughout the resort.A negative Covid testing is not required to enter back in the US.
