The ferry will pick you up at this dock.We suggest entering&nbsp;"Stout’s Island Lodge"&nbsp;into your GPS device as a location instead of the address. The Ferry The Stout’s Island ferry leaves the island for the shore 10 minutes to the hour. The ferry arrives at the Shore House Dock on the hour and then returns to the Island.Ferry Hours:7:50 AM – 10 PM daily Ferries can hold a maximum of 10 passengers.We have both a covered pontoon and an uncovered pontoon which we use alternately or in conjunction as appropriate with conditions. Our ferry is for passengers only; no vehicles are allowed on the ferry or on the island. Parking Parking is available free of charge in our parking lot at the intersection of County Highway V and Highway 48.‍You can park your car in our parking lot and bring your luggage to the dock. In you have a lot of luggage, please do not hesitate to ask our drivers for assistance.&nbsp;They are more than happy to help!&nbsp;Once on the island, our driver will bring all luggage to your room.

Travel

Island Activities All activities are included as part of your stay unless otherwise indicated. Outdoor Activities BADMINTON&nbsp;can be played on the court adjacent to the croquet lawn. Equipment can be found near the office. ‍BAG TOSS&nbsp;is available on the south lawn. Equipment can be found near the croquet court or the office. Please limit play time to one hour when other guests are waiting and replace equipment when you are finished. Rules of play are available in the office. ‍BOCCE BALL&nbsp;is available on the south lawn. Equipment can be found near the croquet court or the office. Please limit play time to one hour when other guests are waiting and replace equipment when you are finished. Rules of play are available in the office. ‍BONFIRE:&nbsp;Weather permitting, join us at dusk every evening at the bonfire area in front of the main lawn. We have s’more packets and roasting sticks available in the Great Room and office. CANOES&nbsp;are available in the boathouse or by the water sports area on the far west end of the main island. This equipment is free of charge and is first-come, first-served. Our staff will be happy to give you instruction on operating equipment. Remember to take life jackets or floatation cushions for each person on all watercrafts. These are available at the watersport area. CROQUET&nbsp;is available on the south lawn. Equipment can be found near the court. Please limit play time to one hour when other guests are waiting and replace equipment when you are finished. Rule of play are available in the office. FISHING: Red Cedar Lake is located in Barron County, Wisconsin. This lake is 1,841 acres in size. It is 53.00 feet deep at its deepest point. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Bluegill, Large and Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike,&nbsp;Panfish and Walleye.&nbsp;Fishing poles and bait can be found near the boat house.&nbsp;If you need assistance, simply ask a boatdriver or any staff member and we would be glad to help you. We do not provide fishing licenses, but you can&nbsp;purchase them from nearby stores such as Mikana General Store and Seasonal Power Toys, located just a few miles from our parking lot.&nbsp;Our staff will happily assist in transporting equipment. GOLF&nbsp;is available at&nbsp;<a href="https://www.tagalonggolf.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Tagalong Golf &amp; Resort</a>, originally part of the Stout estate. Our staff will help you arrange tee times and green fees. The course is a short drive from our parking lot. [Green fees are paid directly to Tagalong Golf Resort] HIKING:&nbsp;The main island has a path all around its perimeter. The east island also has paths with a picnic cabin at the far north end. Book guides of our nature trails and gardens can be found in the office. Looking for something a little more challenging? It’s the great North Woods! And we’re home to a segment of the Ice Age Trail (1000 miles of trail all in the beautiful state of Wisconsin) so there’s plenty of walking and hiking to be found. See "trails and rivers" for more details. HYDRO BIKES&nbsp;are available at the water sport area&nbsp;on the far west end of the main island. This equipment is free of charge and is first-come, first-served. Our staff will be happy to give you instruction on operating equipment (just like riding a bike---only on water)! Remember to take life jackets or floatation cushions for each person on all watercrafts. These are available by the water sport area. There are weeds located in the area under the bridge that will get tangled in the propeller. Please avoid that area. KAYAKS&nbsp;are available at the water sports area on the far west end of the main island. This equipment is free of charge and is first-come, first-served. Our staff will be happy to give you instruction on operating equipment. Remember to take life jackets or floatation cushions for each person on all watercrafts--available at water sports area. LABYRINTH:&nbsp;If you’re in a meditative mood, walk the labyrinth located on the south side of the island between the water sport area and the firepit. Please remember that this is a peaceful endeavor and keep your volume respectful when enjoying or when others are enjoying. LADDER GOLF&nbsp;is available on the south lawn or near the lower fire pit. Equipment can be found near the croquet court or the office. Please limit play time to one hour when other guests are waiting and replace equipment when you are finished. Rules of play are available in the office. LAWN JENGA&nbsp;is available on the south lawn. Just like Jenga, but bigger and enjoyed outdoors.&nbsp;Equipment can be found near the croquet court or the office. Please limit play time to one hour when other guests are waiting and replace equipment when you are finished. Rules of play are available in the office. SWIMMING:&nbsp;There is a swimming dock and raft just off the south lawn. This area is reserved exclusively for swimmers. There is a beach area in the shallows under the bridge between the islands suitable for supervised small children. Please remember to observe sensible safety practices while swimming. Do not swim alone, and do not allow small children near the water without supervision. Please do not swim in the area around the boathouse as it is very busy there and dangerous. TENNIS&nbsp;can be played on the clay tennis court. Equipment can be found near the office. Please limit play time to one hour when other guests are waiting and replace equipment when you are finished. YARD DICE&nbsp;is available on the south lawn. Equipment can be found near the croquet court or the office. Please limit play time to one hour when other guests are waiting and replace equipment when you are finished. Rules of play are available in the office. Indoor Activities BILLIARDS&nbsp;may be played in the game room which is located in the upper level of the boathouse. BOARD GAMES&nbsp;may be found in the Great Room and can be played at any time. We do ask that our guests please help us keep all our games complete and in good condition so that others can enjoy them as well. If you want to take a game to your room, please check it out with the office. LIBRARY:&nbsp;You will find that our Great Room has a modest library from which you are welcome to borrow books at your leisure. TABLE TENNIS&nbsp;may be played in the game room which is located in the upper level of the boathouse. TV &amp; MOVIES:&nbsp;The Game Room – which is located above the boathouse – has a television with a VCR/DVD player.

Hi Everyone! First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate in our hearts, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this happy occasion with you.&nbsp; We have been blessed to have a lot of the "essential" home items a newly married couple needs.
