We feel that our story is best told from both of our perspectives, it's funnier that way!
Sarah:
Daniel and I met in college funnily enough, at a party. My dorm roommate and I had just talked about putting in more effort to meet people and when we had the opportunity to do something social we figured, why not? My friend and I were at this party, when all of a sudden, Daniel came over to talk to me, and I saw his friends in the background with that look of "Oh this is not going to end well". We struck up a conversation, and I found him to be endearing. Daniel left shortly after, I got to know his friends a bit better, and a few days later we all began to hang out in a group. The time I spent with Daniel, and the longer I got to know him, I realized what a strong, intelligent, kind, and obviously funny person he was. He was so different from anyone else I had ever met. We respected one another, and he was truly interested in getting to know me as a person. He made me feel seen and so loved. And here we are now! We've had such an incredible journey together so far, we adopted our dog, Penny, and have been through many ups and downs of life. The privilege of being able to grow up with one another and make ourselves better in the process has been an experience like no other. I cannot wait for forever with him, and our life together is something I cherish every day.
Daniel:
As it is stated above I met Sarah at a party. Funnily enough this whole evening is a bit of a blur but one thing stuck out to me then and will forever stick out as time goes on, HER. During this time I was in a low point and struggling to find my roots in a new environment. In our initial conversation she was personable, endearing, and humble. She is one of the few people in my life who has never judged me and always loved me for the person I am. Even in our early months after meeting I found it easy to talk to her and confide in her, I think her ability to listen is one of the reasons I love her most. She made me feel heard and valid during difficult conversations and comforted me when I felt vulnerable. She is truly one of a kind and I am so thankful to be able to call her mine. Throughout our journey together I am confident she is my person. My number only, forever and always.
