It all started on October 31st, 2019, when our mutual friend introduced and invited us to watch the Baylor Bears play West Virginia Mountaineers. After the game, Daniel invited Perla to Dichotomy Coffee Shop. At that coffee shop, Daniel bought Perla an Irish Coffee and our journey began there. Fun fact: Perla did not finish the Irish Coffee and Daniel yelled at her for not finishing the overly-priced cocktail drink, lol. Fun fact 2: Perla tweeted the next day that she had met her future husband the night prior.

As we spent more time together, it became clear that there was something much deeper than just a casual friendship. We decided to begin a relationship on December 14, 2019 (a mere 44 days after LOL).

Fast forward to today, and we're grateful for the incredible journey we've shared so far. On November 18, 2023, on a special trip to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Daniel asked Perla to marry him! She said yes and the wedding preparations began.

We can't wait to see where life takes us next, but we know one thing for sure: there's no one else we'd rather share this adventure with than each other.

Todo comenzó el 31 de octubre de 2019, cuando un amigo en común nos presentó y nos invitó a ver a los Baylor Bears jugar contra los West Virginia Mountaineers. Después del partido, Daniel invitó a Perla a Dichotomy Coffee Shop. En esa lunar, Daniel le compró a Perla un café irlandés y nuestro amistad comenzó allí. Dato curioso: Perla no terminó el café irlandés y Daniel le gritó por no terminar el cóctel demasiado caro, jajaja. Dato curioso 2: Perla dijo el día siguiente que había conocido a su futuro esposo la noche anterior.

A medida que pasábamos más tiempo juntos, se hizo evidente que había algo mucho más profundo que una simple amistad casual. Decidimos comenzar una relación el 14 de diciembre de 2019 (apenas 44 días después, jajaja).

Avanzamos rápidamente hasta hoy y estamos agradecidos por el increíble viaje que hemos compartido hasta ahora. El 18 de noviembre de 2023, en un viaje especial a Steamboat Springs, Colorado, ¡Daniel le pidió a Perla que se casara con él! Ella dijo que sí y comenzaron los preparativos de la boda. No podemos esperar a ver a dónde nos lleva la vida, pero sabemos una cosa con certeza: no hay nadie más con quien preferiríamos compartir esta aventura que nosotros mismos.
