Once upon a time in the charming town of Pullman, Washington, two lives from different corners of the country intertwined to create a beautiful journey of love and adventure.

Daniel Lopez, born and raised in the heart of Texas, always had big dreams. After completing his college education in East Texas at LeTourneau University, his path led him to the scenic landscapes of Pullman, Washington, where he began working at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories. Little did he know, this decision would change his life in the most wonderful way.

Emma Haug, a true Washingtonian, was born and raised amidst the beautiful scenery of the Pacific Northwest. After attending college at Washington State University, she started her career as a dedicated middle school English teacher in Pullman. Emma's love for her community and passion for teaching shone brightly in her work.

It was in Pullman that Daniel and Emma's paths crossed. It began with a first date filled with laughter, conversation, and a shared sense of adventure. On December 14th, 2022, their story became official!

Fast forward to April 7th, 2024, at the breathtaking Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, where Daniel proposed to Emma in a sea of vibrant tulips. Her enthusiastic "yes" marked the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.

Since that magical day, Daniel and Emma have embarked on numerous adventures across the country, exploring new places, creating cherished memories, and building a future together.
