In the year of 2021, Vanessa had the opportunity to go on a missionary trip to South Africa. She served for a few months and that is where she met Daniel.

He was also a missionary who had been serving at the same church. By our shared faith and devotion to God, our love story unfolded. On April 27, 2022 we got engaged. Our connection grew through months of heart-felt conversations and shared prayers, even when she returned home after serving for 6 more months. Despite the distance, our love endured the trials of a long distance relationship, weathering every storm and overcoming every obstacle that came our way. For over a year, we held onto each other with unwavering faith and steadfast love, facing the challenges of distance with courage and grace. On March 1, 2024 after longing and anticipation, we were finally reunited, our hearts overflowing with joy knowing distance will never come between us again. Truly, our love had triumphed over the test of time, strengthened by our unwavering commitment and guiding light of our shared faith.
