We first met in August 2016; Dan interviewed me for a position at Par Pharmaceutical. We worked together for about 3 years until Dan moved to Ireland for work in the summer of 2019. We lost contact until December 2020 when he came back to visit the states for the holidays. We were both single at the time and two of our former coworkers (Petronia and April my former bosses) played matchmakers and got us together. We went on a few dates and Dan went back to Ireland after the holidays. We kept in touch, but it was nothing serious.

In March of 2021, Dan officially moved back to the states and settled in Blue Bell, PA where he was working at Endo Pharmaceutical. We started dating again and in April 2021 our dogs Smokey (sweetest charcoal lab- Dan’s dog) and Lucas (7-pound mut who can be mean at times, our Sour Patch Kid- Natalia’s dog) officially met. Lucas was very intrigued by this 100-pound bear, it wasn’t brotherly love at first sight, but they made it work for their parents’ sake!

On May 15th, 2021, we went to El Sarape (Mexican restaurant in Blue, Bell PA) and Dan officially asked me to be his girlfriend.

On November 14th, 2021 (on my Birthday!) Dan gave me a key to his apartment in PA and asked me to move in with him. I was living in Jersey at the time (WNY girl all day!). It took us a year to officially move it together (I had a hard time leaving Jersey LOL).

On December 16th, 2022, we went back to where he asked me to be his girlfriend (El Sarape). We had dinner and I told him I wanted to go home (I was tired lol long day at work), when we were walking towards the apartment he grabbed my hand, got down on one my knee and asked me to marry him right in front of the door! Of course, I said yes. This was also his parents’ 50th wedding anniversary so it was a very symbolic day to get engaged.

On December 31st, 2022, I officially moved out of my WNY apartment (which I had been living in for 25 years) and moved in with Dan in his Blue Bell, PA apartment. Shortly after moving in, we started looking for a home to share with our two wonderful puppies Lucas and Smokey. We were looking somewhere where we had land but still close enough to NJ where I could still visit friends and family. In March 2023 we found our home in Montgomery, NY (Dan's hometown where he grew up). On June 29th, 2023, we officially closed on our new home and moved in.

We wanted to settle in our new home before we started to focus on the wedding. In December 2023 we started looking for venues, we were a bit nervous as we definitely wanted to get married in 2024. We toured a few venues and on December 17th, 2023 (1 day after our 1-year engagement anniversary we found our dream venue at Nanina’s in the park in Belleville, NJ!

We are sooooo excited to share our special day with you all! We look forward to having each of you be part of one of the most important days in our lives! Can’t wait to celebrate with you!
