Our story starts 9 years ago at Kutztown University. I (Erin) was a Freshman living in Lehigh Hall and Dan was a Sophomore working at the front desk. I walked in one night and Dan asked to see my ID. For some reason I thought he was going to get me in trouble so I didn’t give it to him. I (Dan) just wanted to know her name! We exchanged a few words and laughs and I (Erin) smiled the whole walk back to my room. Coincidentally the next night, our mutual friends invited us both to a party, but we didn’t know so I could’ve died when we all met up and the guy who I refused to show my ID to last night was there. I figured I would get on his good side and go over to him & apologize and the rest was history. We ditched the party early and took the long way home. We sat outside the dorms talking for hours. Needless to say he did learn my name, but he’ll never let go the fact that I forgot his! His name is actually still “Channing Tatum” in my phone to this day.

Being able to grow up together is such a special thing and we feel so lucky to have found each other so early in life. We are so glad that we get to share our love with you all next year. You have all played such important roles in our lives and we feel so grateful to know we will be surrounded by the best people on our wedding day.
