Our story began on the night of the 2nd March 2018. Lily's dance moves on the first floor of the nightclub Chemistry, were too much for Daniel to ignore. With every shape she threw enticing Daniel that bit more, he moved in for the kill and dished out some of his best chat-up lines. Daniel knew that the only way to a woman's heart was through food, and so, one 99p chicken mayo later, he'd won the heart of Lily. Fast forward 6 months later and we were off on our first holiday together, a weekend in the rolling green hills of Wales. It was at this moment at the top of a mountain, shortly after Daniel had lost his shoe in sinking marshland, that Lily knew life with Daniel was going to be nothing short of exciting.

18 months later, with a wallpaper steamer and scraper in hand, we moved into our first home together. Daniel's ability to turn his hand at anything, and lack of ability to sit down, meant we were full steam ahead into a renovation project. This was the ultimate test of our relationship. But despite dodgy wallpaper, leaking radiators and burst pipes we managed to smile through it all and made memories to last a lifetime.

We didn't think it was possible to find someone that enjoys snacks as much as we do, or could wind us up as much as we do to each other, or appreciate the 6 decorative bedroom pillows...but then we found Oakley. Our bundle of joy provides us so much love, and the place we call home wouldn't be the same without him.

On a long weekend trip to Cornwall, and after many long hours of research, Daniel got down on one knee and popped the all important question. Lily, not quite believing that this moment was happening replied "Are you being serious?". Once Daniel explained that he was indeed being serious, and the ring in the box wasn't just for show, Lily eagerly said yes. Our story is to be continued with all our favourite people by our side on the 25th August 2024.
