On a beautiful Sunday morning Mackenzie was enjoying a casual walk on the beach. Crowds flocked to the shores, enjoying the lively atmosphere and soaking up the sun.As she strolled along the shoreline, her gaze was drawn to a commotion near a rocky outcrop. Curiosity sparked within her, and she rushed toward the scene, determined to discover the cause of the frenzy. There, nestled in a crevice between the rocks, was a tiny, frightened seal pup, its eyes pleading for help.Without a moment's hesitation, she knew she had to save the stranded little one. The rocks were treacherous, and the crashing waves threatened to engulf it. As she started to climb, a gentlemen, Daniel, stopped her to offer assistance. Together, they formed an impromptu rescue team.With unwavering determination, they devised a daring plan. They carefully navigated the treacherous terrain, clinging to the rocks with the skill of seasoned adventurers. With ropes and makeshift ladders, they created a pathway to the seal pup's temporary sanctuary.Time seemed to slow as they worked in perfect harmony, fueled by their shared desire to save this innocent creature. Inch by inch, they made their way toward the seal pup, aware that every second counted. As they reached the crevice, they gently scooped it up, cradling it in their arms, its wide eyes filled with gratitude.Their efforts did not go unnoticed. The crowd erupted in cheers, their applause echoing across the beach. They had not only rescued a precious life but had also inspired others to act with compassion and bravery. Rescuing the seal pup created a bond between Mackenzie &amp; Daniel that could never be broken. Just kidding, they met on a dating app.

Even though the wedding will be in Oceanside, we recommend you stay in San Diego. If you are traveling far, we truly want you to have the best experience &amp; to allow this to be as much of a vacation as possible &amp; we feel as though San Diego is the best place to enjoy yourself. We have reserved a very limited amount of rooms at the Sheraton La Jolla in La Jolla. Please book as soon as possible as they may go quickly. We only have rooms reserved at the discounted rate Thursday March 14-Sunday March 17. You can book additional rooms there but it would have to be done separately through their website. I was told that if you stay for additional nights you won't need to change rooms. Although if you are staying for longer than that, it might be most cost effective to coordinate with other people and book an Airbnb. You only have until February 20th to book, after that the discounted rooms won't be available anymore. We will be providing transportation from the Sheraton La Jolla up to the venue &amp; back so you won't have to worry about driving. The bus will be leaving at 3 PM to transport you up to the venue. If you decide not to stay at the hotel, we still recommend staying in San Diego as it would be a fairly quick/cheap uber to the Sheraton. If you would like to stay somewhere more North that is also totally fine, but keep in mind our Welcome Party the night before will be somewhere in San Diego. Please reach out to us and we can help you decide the best neighborhood to stay in as some neighborhoods may not be the safest.
