Once upon a time, there was a man sent from God. His name was Daniel. There was also a woman. Her name was Leisha (also sent from God). There was also another woman. Her name was Georgia Durning (also sent from God). Georgia knew both Leisha and Daniel. Leisha and Daniel did not know each other. The Lord's timing is perfect and so is Georgia Durning's.

The stage was set, the texts were sent. They met at the Dayton Tavern (most recently burnt down). Afterwards they went to Grammie's. Not Leisha's Grammy's, a different Grammie's. Though Daniel did room and board at Grammy's house (not the ice cream shop, Grammie's). They said goodnight and Daniel drove the treacherous 2 hour drive back to DC (he was a big city boy).

And thus it was decreed. Daniel would drive down every weekend. Leisha would wait. Daniel would pay for every meal. Leisha would eat. Daniel would charm the parents. Leisha would smile with sweet serenity. Amongst all the hustle and bustle, love grew.

One morning, Daniel woke up with a ring in his hand. He was meant to propose! He strategically planned a SPECIAL walk in the bleak midwinter. So walk they did. And propose Daniel did. And accept, Leisha did. And capture it, Andrea (Leisha's mother) did. (see photos)
