Our Story

Persistency is the key to success...or is it supposed to be paying attention? I don't know, you be the judge!

Dan met Joselyn the first time at a small gathering of SLB employees in Plano back in 2021, and quickly forgot all about it. 5 months later, Joselyn emailed Dan asking for help getting to know a large client in OKC, she was just moving to the city. Not knowing who she was, he deleted it. Then, 1 month later, Dan met Joselyn for the first time in the hotel lobby of the Omni in OKC. Dan was a drink or two deep from a dinner function when he stepped to the lobby to take a call from a client. During the call, a small little spitfire burst downstairs and waved at Dan like a long-lost friend. Dan for his part, told the client to "please hold on, some crazy woman is waving at me. To which the client asked " Is she hot??" and Dan said "Absolutely gorgeous, but I have no Idea who she is."

Fast forward 3 months, and Dan is sitting on the range of a Top Golf in Tulsa, again drink in hand, during the PGA Championship in ’22. Then a breathtaking lady in a flowing sundress that had the littlest slits on the side, floats past his vision. He has never seen this woman before, but he knows he must pursue her. This time, she rebukes him, telling him she cannot stay another day at the PGA. Looking back, she regrets this decision – who in their right mind doesn’t want tickets to the Sunday Round of a Major???

Finally, in July of 2022, (11 months later for those of you who used your fingers to count), Dan invited Joselyn to a “client meeting” of cigars and beers with some of his friends. This was their first "date" according to Dan.

Many, many trips to OKC later. All of which Dan spent more and more time with Joselyn, he asked her to be his girlfriend one night over plantain-lasagna.

After that, it slowly blossomed into a beautiful love between two friends. Dan taught Joselyn golf, and Joselyn taught Dan how not to be a fat slob that never worked out and only spoke 1 language.

Now, they are engaged, and ready to celebrate taking the next step in their lives together in Christ in front of you, our family and friends. We do not know what the future holds, but we know together we are stronger, together we are smarter, together-we are one.
