We believe marriage is a heavenly union between two souls, two families, and even two cultures. Combined with our hearts and beliefs we hope to bring together our families, and cultivate relationships that will forever uplift our values. We cannot wait to join our two families together, and to create a welcoming home for both sides where we share stories, laughs, and recipes. And at the foundation of marriage we are committing ourselves to centering our lives around Christ.

To Us

The Yadon's enjoy spending time together watching movies, playing card games, and relaxing together. They share a passion for all things movie related, and cooking. They share a want and need for companionship and quality time. We love to spend quality time together when we can watching movies, and sitting around the fire. We enjoy holiday baking and cooking. Right now we are working on preserving all of our family recipes and sharing our favorite meals together. At the head of the family is Laura when she is not working for Envision as a Hospice Nurse, she's spending time with her beautiful boys, cooking, and spending quality time with them. She has a passion for all things horses and loves Yellow Stone. Collin is the oldest Yadon boy and currently works in Portland Oregon as a teacher, and Real Estate Agent, and is together with Kaila. The baby of the Yadon's is Daniel, he is currently working as a Rental Specialist for Metro Parks Tacoma.

The&nbsp;Smith's&nbsp;are&nbsp;a&nbsp;strong&nbsp;group&nbsp;of&nbsp;like&nbsp;minded&nbsp;people,&nbsp;who&nbsp;love&nbsp;to&nbsp;share&nbsp;experiences,&nbsp;and&nbsp;be&nbsp;together. We&nbsp;love&nbsp;to&nbsp;play&nbsp;games&nbsp;with&nbsp;each-other,&nbsp;and&nbsp;tell&nbsp;stories.&nbsp;Mr.&nbsp;and&nbsp;Mrs.&nbsp;Smith&nbsp;(Mark&nbsp;and&nbsp;Kimberlee&nbsp;Smith)&nbsp;are&nbsp;hilarious&nbsp;and&nbsp;love&nbsp;to&nbsp;spend&nbsp;time&nbsp;with&nbsp;their&nbsp;kids,&nbsp;and&nbsp;grandbabies.&nbsp;Their&nbsp;kids&nbsp;Damon,&nbsp;Azzilee&nbsp;and&nbsp;Dakota.&nbsp;Damon&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;oldest&nbsp;and&nbsp;is&nbsp;together&nbsp;with&nbsp;Cheronalyn.&nbsp;We&nbsp;joke&nbsp;often&nbsp;that&nbsp;they&nbsp;have&nbsp;their&nbsp;own&nbsp;"soccer&nbsp;team".&nbsp;Azzilee&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;middle&nbsp;kid,&nbsp;and&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;coolest&nbsp;Smith,&nbsp;and&nbsp;is&nbsp;together&nbsp;with&nbsp;Shawn&nbsp;Damey.&nbsp;Although&nbsp;they&nbsp;do&nbsp;not&nbsp;have&nbsp;a&nbsp;'soccer&nbsp;team'&nbsp;they&nbsp;have&nbsp;their&nbsp;own&nbsp;herd&nbsp;of&nbsp;dogs.&nbsp;Unfortunately&nbsp;the&nbsp;dogs&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;missed&nbsp;the&nbsp;day&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;wedding.&nbsp;Last,&nbsp;but&nbsp;very&nbsp;not&nbsp;least&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;loudest&nbsp;Smith,&nbsp;Dakota,&nbsp;or&nbsp;as&nbsp;we&nbsp;all&nbsp;know&nbsp;her&nbsp;'Kota'.&nbsp;(It's&nbsp;okay&nbsp;she&nbsp;wrote&nbsp;this.)

Daniel and Dakota's Bridal Party

I personally know Laylah's parents for a few years now, and she's the sweetest little girl with a curious mind and a big heart. Her parents, Matt and Richelle, have become some of my closest friends, and we often spend time together even outside of me volunteering to take care of her. Laylah's laughter and imagination make every moment with her a joy, and I feel like part of their family.

The older sister to Laylah, Lily, is the protective and caring older sister, always looking out for Laylah with a maturity beyond her years. Spending time with Lily is always fun because she has a creative spirit and loves spending time with everyone around her.

I've known Silas since he was just a little kid, and we've spent countless hours on the golf course together. Now that he's grown a bit, it means the world to me that he's the ring bearer at my wedding. Seeing him in this role makes me proud of the young man he's becoming, and I can't wait to watch him continue to grow.

The wedding party is made up of people who have become a pivotal part in both Daniel and Dakotas life. These are people who have shown an unwavering act of support and love for their relationship and the new milestones they are achieving.

"Hello! I'm Azzilee. I have known Dakota her whole life. I am Dakota's older sister. And as such, I feel like I know her the best (sorry Daniel) .
I am a stoneworker and make headstones and monuments. Yes, business is good, and no, it doesn't make me sad. You get used to it after a while. I have three amazing dogs, (one technically is my parents, but she loves me and my boyfriend more). I like golfing with Dakota because even though I am subpar at best, she still hypes me up. "Azzilee is my older sister yes, but she is also my bestest friend. Her being my sister is the best but not only that, it means that she can't get rid of me, as much as I annoy her, and make her upset she still loves me. Collin, the best man and older brother of Daniel, has always been more than just a sibling—he’s Daniel’s best friend and confidant. As a dedicated medical consultant, Collin is used to making important decisions, but today, his most cherished role is standing by his brother’s side as he embarks on this new journey. Their bond is unbreakable, forged through years of laughter, support, and shared adventures. Collin couldn't be prouder to celebrate this special day with Daniel and welcome a new member into their close-knit family.

"Daniel and I grew up together. Our families are so close that instead of one brother, I always say I have three. When he introduced me to Dakota, we instantly hit it off and have been best friends ever since! Ben Tschida, one of Daniel’s groomsmen, has been a close friend for about 15 years since they first met in middle school. Throughout the years, Daniel and Ben have bonded over their shared interests, which have only strengthened their friendship. Recently, Dakota successfully convinced both of them to join her in playing Dungeons & Dragons, adding another layer of fun to their friendship. Ben is excited to stand by Daniel’s side and celebrate this special day.

Joe Decker, the Co-Best Man, has been best friends with Daniel since they were just 5 years old. Growing up together, they’ve shared a lifetime of adventures and more funny stories than they can remember. Their bond, forged in childhood, has only grown stronger over the years. Joe is honored to stand by Daniel’s side on this special day, celebrating not only their friendship but also the start of a new chapter in Daniel's life.

"Hello everyone, my name is Holly! I currently work at Meadow park Golf Course, where Dakota and I met. Outside of work, I'm working toward getting my degree in either teaching or sports management (haven't decided), and like to spend my free time playing sports/working out or with my friends and family. Since the first day meeting Dakota, she has quickly become one of my best friends and I'm so excited to be a part of this with her.

Logan, one of Daniel’s groomsmen, has been a close friend since middle school, around the same time Daniel met Ben. When Logan, Ben, Daniel, and Joe transitioned to high school, they quickly became an inseparable group, sharing countless shenanigans and always having each other’s backs. Their friendship has stood the test of time, with memories that will last a lifetime. Logan is honored to be part of this special day, celebrating the next chapter in Daniel’s life.

"I have been centering life upon my main friendships, because my family was "too busy" for me. Dakota is my logical side of my thinking and decision making. We understand each other and finish each other's sentences. We also have a certain dynamic that works best when we have constant communication. Otherwise, I cry in fear of being forgotten about. Tajanae Barker (Red)

Daniel is my younger 'brother'. Our families became neighbors before he was born. Growing up with his brother and my sister, we have had so many adventures together. We spent hours playing games, sports, watching movies, and acting in plays together. I'm excited to be a part of this very special day for him and Dakota.

I've always lived in Washington. I enjoy playing video games, watching movies, and spending time with my friends and family. 

Donny Boettcher (Red)

I was always really reserved as a kid and being honest I still suffer from confidence issues now.  I think that's how I convinced myself that taking up rollerskating would make me more comfortable with doing difficult and scary things.  It was only shortly after I started skating that I ended up quitting my previous job (so scary hahaha) and starting at Metro Parks Tacoma.  I can't be more grateful because it's brought Dakota into my life and getting to know her has been such a privilege.  I'm honored to get to stand with her and Daniel on their special day and can't wait to meet everyone else they love.

Mike is someone with whom I met at Metro Parks and they have become such a kind source of energy for me. They always know how to uplift my spirits, and we share the best laughs together. Max, one of Daniel’s groomsmen, was introduced to Daniel through his older brother Collin. The three quickly became good friends, often spending hours together immersed in video games. Their shared passion for gaming created a strong bond that has remained steadfast over the years. Max is excited to celebrate Daniel’s special day and be part of this memorable occasion.

Her and Matt are one of the relationships that inspire and encourage me and Daniel. They have a relationship that me and Daniel want to mirror. When me and Daniel hangout with Richelle and Matt we always leave feeling heard, seen, and good. She is the most hardworking woman I have ever met, but she is also so humble. She studied, went to school to become a nurse while also watching over the two cutest girls ever and she inspires me to work harder! Our wedding is in December, and we’re inviting everyone to join us in wearing semi-formal Christmas attire! Daniel and I have always loved Christmas—the rich greens, reds, golds, silvers, and all the sparkling lights. We’re going for a classic Christmas vibe and would love for you to celebrate the season with us.Please wear your best Christmas outfit—like that amazing red dress you’ve been waiting for the perfect occasion to wear! Of course, wear whatever makes you feel comfortable; we just kindly ask that you avoid whites, creams, or ivory. Have fun with your outfits, dress for the weather, and most importantly, get ready to have a great time!

As much as we want everyone to join us we understand that sometimes there are other responsibilities that must come first.
