Tim and I first met in Costa Rica. Tim moved there with his family to be missionaries. We quickly became friends, and though I had a bit of a crush on him, I never thought anything would come out of it. Our time together in Costa Rica was short, and Timothy moved to Ecuador to continue their mission, and life went on. We lost touch for years, but kept in contact through social media.

Years later, Tim returned to Ohio to live with his grandparents. To his surprise, he saw on social media that I was also in Ohio—and was living nearby for college! He reached out and decided to ask me out to dinner. What started as a simple hangout quickly turned into something much deeper.

God’s plan for us was woven together long before we ever met. From the very beginning, even when we were friends in middle school, He had a purpose for our lives—one that would eventually bring us together. Today, that plan is clear, and our love story is a testament to His faithfulness. Join us as we celebrate the beautiful union He has for us!
