Our Wedding

Daniela and Blake both attended Texas A&amp;M University for their bachelor degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Chemical Engineering respectively. They were fortunate to be surrounded by incredible friends from childhood and school and were involved in student organizations, while balancing difficult coursework. Although they both lived in College Station, their paths did not cross until 2019, with the exception of a political science class with over 200 students. During Blake's junior year and Daniela's final semester, the two matched on a dating app. After a few conversations and getting to know each other a bit more, Blake asked Daniela out to grab a drink and dinner at World of Beer. Their first date went well and the conversation flowed easily between them. Shortly after, Blake asked Daniela out again for sushi at Yummi Yummi, a College Station staple. Similar to the first date, they got along easily and wanted to keep the date going as long as possible, heading to Starbucks after dinner for a nighttime coffee run. They spent hours talking in Blake's Honda Element and the beginning of a meaningful relationship bloomed quickly. Within a week, it was Valentine's Day and the two of them shared their first kiss. This sealed the deal and the two have been a permanent part of each other's lives, no matter how many different jobs or opportunities have kept them from living in the same city. This next chapter of becoming husband and wife is something Daniela and Blake have patiently waited for over the past 6 years and it means the world to them to say finally say "I do" with their family and friends there to celebrate.

Rebecca and Daniela have known each since 3rd grade and have stayed an important part of each other’s lives over the years. From traveling back and forth from Austin to College Station to see each other and now across multiple states, their friendship has only grown stronger. It was a no brainer that Rebecca would venture home to be Daniela’s Maid of Honor and share this celebration and many more to come.

Leah and Daniela have known each since junior high but it was AP European History that truly brought these two together. Both have shared many life phases together, with Leah having married Dillon and now a mother to her adorable sons, but still keep their friendship an important part of their lives. Leah asked Daniela to be the godmother to her son, Hobie, and now they are family as much as best friends.

Alexa and Daniela met at Texas A&M and haven’t stopped being besties since they bonded as 21 year old college kids taking on Las Vegas. Both have supported each other ever since as professional career women, wellness enthusiasts, and when Alexa asked Daniela to be a bridesmaid as she married the love of her life, Brad, in Mexico. Now Alexa will stand by Daniela’s side and these two will continue to cheer for each other for many years to come.

Brooke and Daniela met in Organic Chemistry at Texas A&M and quickly bonded over late night study sessions in the library and sharing their dreams of the professionals they would one day become. Their lives have changed a lot since being roomies their senior year but they still are rooting for each other as Brooke will be preparing to graduate from dental school. Their careers may take them to new places but their friendship will always feel like home with sweet memories and new stories to share.

Ana and Daniela met their first week at Texas A&M and quickly became close friends as they cheered on the Aggies at football games and made countless memories in College Station. Ana went on to graduate early and chase a career in sports marketing but the two stayed close. They have shared more memories together as they’ve grown older with Ana marrying Michael, and now Ana will stand by Daniela’s side as she marries Blake. Ana calls Austin home these days but her and Daniela will continue to be a part of each other’s lives for each new chapter to come.

Melissa and Daniela met as coworkers and quickly bonded over both being Aggies, masters degrees from TWU, and similar job roles. After countless happy hours, workouts/runs, and a Mardi Gras bachelorette weekend, the two knew their friendship would stand the test of time and new career moves. Melissa married her best friend, Jeff, with Daniela there to witness and now she will take part in Daniela and Blake’s wedding as a bridesmaid.

Ryan is Blake's older brother, and the two have supported each other through each chapter of their lives. Ryan is an internal medicine doctor and is married to Allison. The two have a growing family with their oldest daughter Rylee, two sons, Jack & Walker, and another on the way. Blake and Daniela love their niece and nephews and are so happy to have Ryan and his beautiful family be a part of their special day.

John and Blake are childhood best friends and have remained an important fixture of each other's lives. John resides in Dallas, and Blake and Daniela look forward to hosting him for visits in Houston to try out new restaurants and spend countless hours laughing and making new memories together. John is one of the funniest people Blake knows, but he is also a genuinely kind and caring person, and his role in supporting Blake as he marries Daniela is meaningful for both of them. 

John Walker

Jason and Blake are childhood best friends who share many of the same interests, including sports, podcasts, and the occasional game of bowling. Jason lives in Dallas where he works in commercial real estate, and the two friends always make time to see each other when Blake is in town to catch up over cards or watch a sports game. Jason will stand by Blake's side as his groomsman for his wedding day, just as the two always supported each other through all stages of their lives and careers. 

Jason Kelley

Javier and Blake are childhood best friends who have stayed close as both move around the state and across the country. Javier works in real estate and is passionate about photography. He was the artist behind the camera lens who graciously offered to take Blake and Daniela's engagement photos. Javier and his long-term partner Val love to travel and take on new adventures together. From playing sports together as kids to now working professionals, Javier and Blake's friendship has evolved over the years, and it is important to both of them for Javier to stand by Blake's side for this next chapter.

Tom and Blake met during their time together at Texas A&M University, becoming close friends and later roommates. From going to Northgate to starting businesses together, Tom and Blake have been a staple in each other's lives over the years. Tom runs a successful pool business with his father in the Cypress area, Boardwalk Pools, but is always there for Blake, even when Blake asked Tom to help move Daniela out of her apartment, twice, but who's counting? Tom enjoys being outside in nature and seeking new adventures, passions that both he and Blake share. Blake is grateful for his friendship with Tom and for having him as his groomsman. 

Thomas Marcotte

Matt and Blake met through his brother, Tom, while students at Texas A&M University. Matt and Blake became close friends with a shared interest in traveling to new destinations, such as their trip to New Mexico and many others. Matt offered for Blake to live with him in Cypress while navigating location changes in his career, and this is one of many times that Matt has been there to support him. Matt and Blake's friendship has evolved over the years as Matt married his wife, Anakaren, and welcomed their beautiful daughter, Aurora, into the world. Blake stood by Matt's side as his groomsman, and the decision to ask Matt to return the favor was a no-brainer. The two will continue to be there for each other, as one good Ag does for another.

What should I wear? The wedding will be a formal event. While tuxedos and floor-length gowns are encouraged, dark suits and formal midi-length dresses are also appropriate. We kindly ask that you avoid jeans, sneakers, or casual day dresses.
