Daniela and Ethan’s journey began at UCONN in 2016. They both lived on the second floor of the Busby dorms their junior year but didn't meet until their second semester when they were introduced by a mutual friend (shoutout to Katelyn). From there, they began to occasionally hang out until one night they struck up a conversation at a party and exchanged numbers. After playing it cool for frankly way too long, Ethan asked Daniela to be his girlfriend after a wild date at Chilis. Even though Ethan broke the chain on the necklace he got Daniela, she still said yes when he asked her to be his girlfriend. They enjoyed their first summer together going on cute, less destructive dates and bonding over their shared passion of talking smack during Mario Kart. After their final year in college, they had their degrees and celebrated in Italy; visiting the Vatican and enjoying the beautiful city of Rome. There, the two of them found tranquility traversing life as a team. While Daniela began her career as an actuary, Ethan went back to school to become a Physical Therapist. They needed a way to see each other consistently so the highlight of their days was driving to a gym halfway between both of their apartments and working out together; they held each other accountable and motivated one another.

When Covid struck in 2020, the world outside grounded to a halt, so did many of their obligations - many days were spent binging Avatar the Last Airbender and playing Animal Crossings. After Ethan got his PT license and had Daniela transitioned jobs to a new company, they decided to move in together! That was not the only major decision they decided on - they brought into the world a fuzzy, human in a dogsuit named Leah; who never missed an opportunity to get way too excited meeting new people.

Throughout everything, they always encouraged growth in one another, held each other accountable, and prioritized one another. After basically an eternity (7 years but who's counting), Ethan decided to propose and start the next chapter of life with Daniela. Standing in their recently purchased home, surrounded by empty floors and her entire family, Ethan asked Daniela the easiest question of her life.

Our wedding and marriage is something we have looked forward to for so long and we can't wait to celebrate with all of you. Cheers!
