Travis and I met at Ohio University in November 2017. We were both in our last year of college. We talked and went out for approximately 3 months when we realized dating at the time wasn’t a good idea because we were both graduating in May 2018. Travis had a job lined up in Columbus and I was moving to Atlanta for a nurse residency program. We thought that would be the end of our story…until I realized I didn’t like Atlanta and decided to move back to Ohio a year later. I found a job as a nurse at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and officially moved back in May 2019. Fast-forward to October 2019. I decided to go back to Athens with my friends for homecoming at Ohio University and I ended up running into Travis! A few weeks later we were going on our first date again, and the rest is history.We have now been dating for 5 years and we even became cat parents to Ana in 2021. Travis proposed in February 2024 and here we are! We are very excited to celebrate the beginning of this new chapter of our lives with all of you.&nbsp; Travis y yo nos conocimos en Ohio University en Noviembre del 2017. Los dos estábamos en nuestro último año de la universidad. Estuvimos saliendo aproximadamente 3 meses cuando los dos nos dimos cuenta de que no era buena idea hacernos novios porque los dos estábamos a punto de graduarnos en Mayo del 2018. Travis ya había conseguido trabajo en Columbus, Ohio y yo tenía planeado mudarme a Atlanta para empezar mi residencia como enfermera. Pensamos que ese sería el final de nuestra historia…hasta que me di cuenta que no me gusto Atlanta y decidí mudarme a Ohio un año después. Encontré un trabajo como enfermera en el hospital Nationwide Children’s y oficialmente me mudé a Ohio en Mayo del 2019. En Octubre del 2019 decidí visitar la Universidad con unos amigos y me encontré con Travis otra vez! Pocas semanas después decidimos empezar a salir por segunda vez y el resto es historia.Hemos sido novios por 5 años y hasta nos convertimos en papas de nuestra gatita Ana en el 2021. En Febrero del 2024 nos comprometimos. Estamos muy emocionados por celebrar el comienzo de este nuevo capítulo de nuestras vidas con todos ustedes.

Transportation will be provided on the wedding day from the hotel Intercontinental Presidente Cozumel to the church and then back to the hotel after the ceremony.Flying to Cozumel is the easiest way to get to Cozumel! There are different airlines that offer flights from the US to Cozumel. Another option is flying to Cancun and then taking the ferry from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel which takes approximately 45 minutes.

The hotel Intercontinental Presidente Cozumel is located 15 minutes away from the ferry terminal. There are 3 different ferry companies that can take you from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen and then from Playa del Carmen back to Cozumel: Ultramar, Xailing, and Winjet. The cost is approximately $32 per person for round trip. The link for each ferry company is provided below so you can review their schedules. We recommend Xailing. Cozumel is an island in the Caribbean Sea off the eastern coast of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. Cozumel was a commercial and ceremonial centre during the Mayan period. In Cozumel you can find beaches, reefs, Mayan ruins, cenotes, and markets. It is best known for its wraparound reefs that frame the entire island. Cozumel es una isla en el mar Caribe al este de Península de Yucatán en México. Cozumel fue un centro comercial y ceremonial durante el periodo Maya. En Cozumel se pueden encontrar playas, arrecifes, ruinas Mayas, cenotes, mercados, y es muy reconocido por los arrecifes que rodean completamente a la isla.

I have arrived in Cozumel, now how do I get to the hotel Intercontinental Presidente? There are 2 ways to get from the airport to the hotel:1. The hotel offers a private shuttle for 1-8 people. The cost of round trip is $3,000 pesos ($150 dollars approx.) per shuttle. To schedule the shuttle please send an email that includes your flight itinerary and number of passengers to<a href="mailto:Cozumel_concierge@grupopresidente.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Cozumel_concierge@grupopresidente.com</a> 2. The second option (this is the one we recommend) is to take a cab from the airport to the hotel. There are several cab options at the airport, but the one we recommend is Flex Eco-Taxi. Flex Eco-Taxi will be waiting for guests outside the airport with a banner that says "Wedding Daniela Salas &amp; Travis Ball." Please look for the banner or their logo below when you arrive at the airport. They will have shuttles and private cars available. Flex eco-taxi accepts credit cards.*There are no Ubers on the island. Ya llegue a Cozumel, ahora cómo llego al hotel Intercontinental Presidente? Para llegar al hotel del aeropuerto hay 2 opciones:1. Melia is an all inclusive hotel approximately 25 minutes away from the wedding venue and 15 minutes away from the church where the ceremony will take place. San Gervasio is the most important prehispanic site in Cozumel island. San Gervasio is where the Mayan worshipped the Goddess "Ixchel." It is considered a Mayan sacred center. Chankanaab is located inside Cozumel's national reef marine park. At Chankanaab you can go snorkeling, scuba diving, swim with dolphins, go on a tequila tour, and watch a sea lion show. Chankanaab esta ubicado dentro del parque nacional de arrecifes de Cozumel. En Chankanaab puedes nadar con snorkel, bucear, nadar con delfines, ir a un tour de tequila, y ver un show de leones marinos.

This is a 5-6 hour all inclusive tour that takes you to Jade cenote, skyreef beach for snorkeling, a crystal clear natural pool, and a tequila tour. Xplor is a park in Playa del Carmen where you can swim in underground rivers and go rafting and zip-lining. To go to Xplor you will also have to take the ferry from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen.
