Jacob and Daniela met when they were children at annual Labor Day parties at Daniela’s aunt and uncle's house. Once they were in their teens and had phones, they would Oovoo video call each other and text (even in class!). The crush was always there from the beginning but life took them in different directions as they grew up in different states.

By 2018 Daniela had graduated college and hadn't seen Jacob in years due to conflicting schedules during that annual Labor Day party. In June 2018 they saw each other again at her uncle's birthday party. They stayed up past everyone else catching up by the bonfire until the sun came up. Jacob asked Daniela out officially in July. They made NY/NJ 2 hour long distance work. Daniela even moved in with Jacob's family in summer of 2019 and Jacob moved in with Daniela's family winter of 2019/20. They were inseparable.

March 2020 came around and Covid 19 hit strong. Daniela wanted a teaching position and ultimately decided to move to Florida to pursue this. Jacob stayed in New Jersey to pursue his career in law enforcement.

Around Winter 2022 Jacob and Daniela rekindled things and a few months later in March 2023 Jacob had moved down to Florida. It was like they had never had any time apart and they could not wait to start their life and family together. On February 19th 2024 they welcomed their baby boy Eli August into the world.

Jacob and Daniela cannot wait to continue to go through this crazy life together and celebrate their marriage with loved ones in June 2025.
