In the beginning of 2019, when Connor and Daniella were both working at the same public accounting firm, Connor took an interest in Daniella and asked her out on a date. There was a clear spark and they both hit it off as if they had known each other forever. They lost track of time learning just about everything about each other at dinner, including but not limited to, how much they both value family and that they both played “First Date” by Blink182 heading to the date. Before they knew it, hours passed and they almost missed the movie they planned to attend after dinner. Needless to say both Connor and Daniella knew the date was special.

After a few more dates and more than a few months that went by, Daniella was a bit hesitant to get into anything serious with a coworker, but Connor persevered and persistency worked. During this time period, Connor pretty much coined the phrase “I think there is something special here.” It took a company outing in the summer of 2019 for Daniella to finally realize that you should probably date the person you want to spend all of your time with and can’t picture a future without. Connor will always say and quote one of his favorite movies, Gran Torino, “I got the best woman that was ever on this planet to go out with me. I worked at it. It was the best thing that ever happened to me”. The rest is history.

Through living in Boston together, moving to San Diego together, hiking as many National Parks as possible, long distance during Daniella’s 5 month academy, exposing Connor to the beautiful shores of his new homeland, Chios Greece, and finally living together for the past 3 years in New Jersey, the two have been each other’s best friend for the past 5+ years.

Although Connor nearly threw up when he got the word that Daniella had gotten assigned to the Newark, New Jersey for work, he did not even think twice about following Daniella down there. Both truly consider each other as best friends, have loved doing life with the other, and continue to push each other to live life in the growth zone.
