Daniella and Mitch are college sweethearts who first met in 2015 as members of the Stetson University Homecoming Committee, and were both on the Homecoming Court Senior year. As close friends, they continued to work with each other on various Stetson programs until graduation in 2017.

After graduation, Daniella moved to West Virginia and then Texas as she landed great opportunities in the news media industry as a journalist and tv anchor. Mitch remained in Florida to pursue his affinity in hospitality with Disney and Marriott.

They stayed in touch and as fate would have it, they re-connected in March of 2020 and picked up just where they left off. At this time, they were long distance - Daniella was in Texas and Mitch was in Florida.

Hour long virtual dates eventually led to their first official date on December 1, 2020 as they enjoyed a private dinner followed by the "I Love Christmas Movies" experience at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center.

Mitch would continue to fly monthly to Texas to be with Daniella and Lexi and they began creating memories that would last a lifetime. Two years later, they moved to Wilmington, North Carolina with their four-legged child Lexi!

On November 23, 2022 - Mitch proposed to Daniella in front of the Lightner Museum in St. Augustine, FL, across the street from Flagler College, where her parents met. With Daniella's family by her side, she excitedly said "Yes!" as the next chapter of our story began.
