WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

The Wedding location, Full Moon Resort, is nestled in the rustic Catskill Mountains. Full Moon has hiking trails nearby, a 6 hole Frisbee golf course, and three large fields on the grounds. If you're interested in taking advantage of these options, please feel free to bring your own gear with you (hiking boots, sneakers, sunscreen, sports gear). Also, the evenings can be chilly, so bring a warm jacket or sweater.

-Bathrobe/Slippers

-Toiletries/medicine: The Front Desk has emergency and basic medical equipment - nearest pharmacy is approximately 20 minutes from Full Moon.

-Bug spray & Sunscreen

-Flashlight or headlamp (it gets dark)

-Umbrella or raincoat (just in case)

WHAT DOES FULL MOON PROVIDE FOR THEIR GUESTS?

Full moon is a rustic lodging facility, not a hotel, but it's quaint, clean and provides:

-Bath towels

-Bed linens

-Shampoo, conditioner and bar soap

-Complimentary teas and coffee in the Valley View House (Main Inn) from the time breakfast is served until the last meal of the day is served.

-Complimentary Wireless Internet

-Free long-distance phone service from the Valley View House.

Housekeeping services are not provided during the course of the stay. Extra towels may be obtained from the Front Desk as needed

HOW AND WHEN DO I RESERVE MY STAY?

Lodging at Full Moon Resort is comprised of various houses and cabins. Accommodation styles vary from rooms with shared-hall bathrooms, rooms with private bathrooms, shared cottages, and even private cabins! Because rooms vary in style, we will assign the guest rooms. You will need to RSVP with us. It is important for us to match you in the most appropriate accommodation. Once we book your room, guests will receive a link from Full Moon Resort after September 7th to their specific reservation details through their email. This link will take you to the signature document that explains the room style you have been assigned to, meals that are included and important details about the facility. There will also be a request for credit card information to confirm your reservation. Once the preauthorization of your credit card is received the reservation becomes non-refundable and there is NO cancellation. You can begin to reserve your room as soon as possible. The sooner the better.

WILL THERE BE CELL PHONE RECEPTION?

There is no cell reception at Full Moon Resort. You will begin to lose cell service 20 minutes from the resort. Complimentary phone service for all calls within the U.S. is available at all times at the Inn. There is also complimentary Wi-Fi calling capability. Or there are apps that you can download that use Wi-Fi for calling and messaging.

CAN I BRING MY PET?

Pets are not allowed at Full Moon. Please make other arrangements for your furry friends.

CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL?

Personal-stock alcoholic beverages are allowed in your private room, but not allowed in public areas due to State Liquor Laws.

WHAT FOOD & BEVERAGES ARE AVAILABLE DURING MY STAY?

There is a beverage vending machine available in the billiard room; however, we encourage our guests to bring their own snacks beverages for those times that there will be no services available. The closest store is about 20 minutes away.

WHERE CAN I SMOKE?

All buildings are non-smoking. However, feel free to take a nice walk away from the crowd and smoke if you have to. In addition, please do not light candles, incense, or any combustible materials in guest rooms.

WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT?

Check-In is at 3pm and Check-out is at 10:30 am. Please return room key card(s) to the Front Desk by 10:30am. Do NOT leave access key cards in your room. A $10 fee will be applied for unreturned and/or lost access keys.

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

No, sorry. This will be an ADULTS ONLY Wedding. The only kids there will be a part of the bridal party, and our kids.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
The first and last day are casual. The day of the wedding will be formal. Do NOT wear white or anything that resembles white. Please dress appropriately. If you are not sure if a dress is appropriate, you can always contact the bride to ask her. 

IS THERE PARKING?

Yes, there is plenty of parking on site. As soon as you drive in, you will see the parking available on the left side. You can't miss it.

CAN I RSVP ONLINE OR DO I MAIL IN MY RSVP CARD? WHEN DO I HAVE TO RSVP BY?

We invite you to RSVP ONLINE! RSVP BY JUNE 1ST 2025! Please let us know on your RSVP which tiers you would be comfortable placing you in. If you have questions about the tiers please call or text us whenever!

AM I ALLOWED TO BRING A PLUS ONE?

Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. We hope you understand our decision.

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?
Yes, we will provide an Open Bar for cocktail hour and the reception. If you wish to attend the after party, please bring cash. This portion of the night will NOT be open bar.

WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

The ceremony will be outdoors provided there is no rain. The rest of the wedding will be indoors.

WHAT TYPE OF FOOD WILL BE SERVED AT THE WEDDING?

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree with a selection of meat or fish. If you have a dietary restriction, you can write it into the dietary line when you RSVP.

WILL THERE BE A SHUTTLE SERVICE?

Everything on the grounds is walking distance, but if you are handicapped, there will be a golf cart that will take you to and from each location the day of the wedding.

What other information should I be aware of?

Arrangements have been made for you to join us at our wedding site, Full Moon Resort. We have designed a custom "Guest Package" which includes charges for your accommodations and a complete dining plan. All accommodations have been pre-selected for you by us. The resort will e-mail you an "Invitation to Register", describing your reservation and the comprehensive Guest Package Price. The resort cannot adjust charges or accommodation locations.
