Our Wedding

Let's keep things short &amp; sweet! We started dating junior year of high school, after going to the same school since 1st grade. Fun fact: we attended Ivy Hill Elementary School and the name of our venue is Ivy Hills Country Club (coincidence or fate??). Then we dated long-distance throughout college, while Danielle attended Miami University (OH) and Cam attended the University of Iowa. Fast forward to 2022, we moved to Cincinnati so Danielle could start medical school and Cam could start a new career in insurance. In the summer of 2024, Cam proposed on the dock we drank coffee on throughout the years. Cincinnati is a place that will always be important to our story and a big reason we decided to have our wedding here. We know most of you will have to travel, if you're able to attend, so we wanted to thank you in advance! We hope you enjoy Cincinnati as much as we do while you're here.

Where the newlyweds will be staying! If the block rates ("special rates") are no longer available, please reach out. We can expand the block, if there is additional availability at the hotel, so we recommend booking as early as you can. By default the booking link includes Friday and Saturday night (6/5-6/7), but the special rate is available from Thursday to Sunday night. Manually change the dates if you would like to book those additional nights. Hotel is a 20 minute drive from the venue.

For 50 years we’ve been humbly occupying an adorable Victorian house in East Hyde Park (a true coffee house). Founded in 1973, this is the longest-running coffee shop in Ohio (and still mom-and-pop-owned).

Hyde Park Square is a small sitting park that is located in the center of Hyde Park, a vibrant urban square that features eclectic shops and eateries. The centerpiece of Hyde Park Square is the stunning Kilgour Fountain, originally installed in 1900 as a gift to the city, and then fully restored in 2003. The small park is also host to community events and the outdoor Hyde Park Farmer’s Market, that runs Sunday mornings (9:30am-1pm) May through October.

Rhinegeist is located in the historic Over-the-Rhine neighborhood in Cincinnati, Ohio. Our 25,000 square foot, active brewing facility is housed in the former bottling plant of Christian Moerlein Brewing Co., a formidable pre-Prohibition beermaker.
