Danielle and Thomas' paths crossed long before many of you actually know! Their blossoming story had it's roots planted back in 2015, while Thomas was in need of a place to stay for a summer golf tournament in the Minneapolis area. Danielle was roommates with Thomas' sister, Madeline, during this time. When Thomas reached out to his sister for a place to crash, she would conveniently be out of the country to study abroad, leaving both her best friend and her summer room (very) available.

After a summer of fun and the bleak reality of long distance in Minnesota and Louisiana, both of them went their separate ways. Many tears and several talks with Danielle's mom Sherri later...they both set aside their romantic feelings for personal growth for about 7 years! It wasn't until something burning inside of Thomas that led to an inquiry about Danielle in the late-fall of 2022. Through his reconnaissance and various channels (mostly just asking Madeline), he found out that miraculously this beautiful person was somehow single in her late-20s. Fall led to spring (now of 2023), and again, their paths crossed. This time however, it was not in-person. Because he was diligent in his research, Thomas downloaded the Hinge dating app for singles and saw the most beautiful single person (Danielle) he had seen. One of her prompts on the app was to give travel tips for Thailand, as she was going there soon. Having just been to Thailand to play golf events, Thomas saw this as an opportunity to reveal everything (everything) he knew about the area. With a long, well thought-out message, he was sure that a response was inevitable. And what did she say in response?

Nothing.

He didn't hear back from her! Thomas knew that persistence was the key to getting what you wanted in life, so he reached out again when she got back to the United States. This time, it would be a casual reaching out to see if she wanted a golf lesson with his sister, Madeline. At the time, Madeline was motivated to get better at golf and much to her chagrin, her brother spent almost no time with her on the range that day. She pieced it together that she was crashing Danielle and Thomas' 'first date' when Danielle showed up in a cute golf skirt and full makeup for a warm, early summer evening on the golf range.

While pleading for any additional time he could get with Danielle, Thomas finally got a few more dates with her. After many cribbage games, craft beers, sharing business ideas and explaining future goals, Thomas and Danielle officially started dating later that summer. They've had several adventures, grown deeper in love and are looking forward to cementing their future together with all of you at the wedding!
