Max and Danielle met freshman year of high school and immediately sparked a friendship. As time went on, the feelings that they had for each other started to turn into more than "just friends" Fast forward to the end of senior year Max decided it was time to take the leap and ask Danielle if she was willing to try a relationship together. They spent 6 years together which included long distance, many weekend visits, camping trips, and buying and moving into their first home together. On a weekend getaway to Galena, while admiring a beautiful waterfall, Danielle turned around to see Max on one knee where he asked her to marry him. After squeaking out a yes (Danielle had no voice), they enjoyed getting to share the good news with family and friends!
