…as many modern love stories do. We matched on Tinder in May 2019 and had our first date at William Oliver’s in Lafayette. Dani insisted on playing a few drinking games, which Aaron promptly lost, but continued to chat for hours and hours.

Dani knew Aaron was something special because she didn’t immediately turn on her usual sad girl music when she got in the car to leave that first date, and Aaron knew when he lost the first round of fingers. From there, Dani continued to throw Aaron into the deep end, including introducing him to her dad’s entire side of the family during an annual family reunion instead of just meeting her parents, and Aaron introduced Dani to all the wonders of Colorado including Glenwood Springs Adventure Park (IYKYK), Elitch Gardens, and of course, the Colorado Avalanche.

Our relationship continued to evolve- we moved from Boulder county to Denver, welcomed our sweet boy Gatsby into our family, Aaron graduated from college, and now we’re getting married!
