No one would have ever guessed that two strangers who met at freshman high school orientation would find their forever partners in one another…but that is exactly what happened with Danielle and Jared.

The day of orientation was a new experience for Danielle, who had only been in Catholic school until this point. She knew no one and was randomly paired with Jared for the scavenger hunt. He pleasantly introduced himself and showed her how to use a locker, since she had never done this before either! Over the course of high school, they shared homeroom and multiple classes and became fast friends.

After graduation, they were one of the few friends who said to stay in touch and meant it. Throughout college and after, they ran into one another unexpectedly, and it seemed no time passed between them. At one point, the two of them casually dated in their twenties, but it didn’t seem the right time for a serious relationship, so they parted ways, staying friends.

There was another random chance meeting in October of 2017, bringing them together once again, but this time, there would be no parting. After reconnecting in late October, they decided to casually meet up for drinks like they had in the past. At this casual meeting, though, they both realized that maybe there was more here than they had truly appreciated before. At this moment, they both decided that perhaps all the random and unexpected times they saw one another through the years was not so coincidental, and perhaps God had been pointing them to one another this whole time.
