June 2009: Danielle had just graduated high school, and was on her "senior week" - a week at the beach with the graduating class. Philip was at the shore for the weekend with one of his friends, Josh. Josh was hosting a party on Saturday night, and his girlfriend Alexis (now Josh's wife) invited Danielle and her friends to go to the party. Danielle had met Phil once before, briefly, at his house with Josh, Alexis, and other friends. She heard he would be at the party, and called "dibs" on him while at the beach with her friends that morning! At the party, Danielle and Phil were beer pong partners, and did a decent job of beating other teams. They made a connection that night, but were both not looking for anything serious.They continued to see each other throughout the summer, before Danielle went to college, but were not expecting to continue the fling for years to come! They kept in touch when Danielle went to college, and ended up dating. Danielle and Phil dated long-distance for five years, while Danielle got her bachelor's and master's degrees. These years included many trips from Philadelphia to Washington, DC and vice versa, countless nights on the phone, text messages, and skype calls, winter and spring breaks together, and a few summer breaks of living together.January 2014: On New Year's Day, Danielle and Philip went to Love Park, in downtown Philadelphia. Danielle had been wanting to see Love Park ever since she moved to Philadelphia in middle school. There was a parade through the streets, with lots of music, food, and of course the mummers. The park held a market, where there were vendors selling all sorts of goods. Danielle wanted a picture in front of the LOVE sign! Philip and Danielle made a few rounds of the market and the parade - it seemed as if Philip was stalling for something. Eventually, they went to take their picture. A very nice homeless man offered to take their photo. They took a few smiling, and Philip told the man, "hold on, just one more." He then got down on one knee, holding the most beautiful ring! Tons of college students nearby screamed and cheered. Danielle said yes!August 2014: Danielle got a job teaching in North Carolina, and Philip moved down to join her! June 2015: Danielle and Philip bought their first house together.They have been living happily ever after ever since.

We are so excited to get married here! We love how beautiful the mansion is, as well as the land it sits on. Behind the manor is a beautiful lake, where the ceremony will be held. Cocktail hour will be around the pool area and under the market lights, and the reception will be in the tent next to the lake.
