We both joke and say that we met on the best night of Kyle's life... June 1, 2012. If you know Kyle, you know that he is a major NY Mets fan. And if you are (un)fortunate enough to be a Mets fan yourself, you'll know that on June 1, Johan Santana pitched the team's first ever no hitter. Kyle and a few friends were at the game and were able to witness history being made. I was at a hometown bar with my girlfriends, clueless that I would meet my *future husband* in a couple of hours. Over the next three years, our relationship would develop over our love of College Game Day, Sam Adams Cold Snap, and spicy food.
Kyle proposed on May 31, 2015.. almost 3 years to the date we first met. We had planned a casual day in the city and started with a stroll through Central Park. At the Bethesda Fountain, Kyle got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! It was the best moment, I couldn't have been more surprised. When we got back home, I was even more surprised to find a party thrown by our family and closest friends. The entire day was perfect but our favorite part was getting to celebrate with all of the people who have always been so important to us.
The reception will take place in the Outdoor Ballroom at beautiful West Hills Country Club in Middletown, NY.
Cocktail hour begins at 5:00 PM. Reception to follow.
