The Babus were established at Kutztown University in the fall of 2011.
Chris had a health class with Paige (the officiant and one of Danielles longest and truest friends), where they were assigned to take each others blood pressure. Chris saw an opportunity to ask for Paiges number. Paige responded that she was gay and without hesitation said, but my roommate is not!
Paige introduced the couple in life so there is no better person to introduce Danielle and Chris as husband and wife, for the first time.
For everyone who knows the bride well, it was definitely love at first sight, in her eyes. Despite much effort by Danielle, it still took the groom a little warming up. The couple began meeting up for pizza in the dining hall and watching movies in each other’s dorm rooms. Chris showed Danielle his art portfolio and the rest is history…
They connected on so many levels and bonded over their mutual love for Johnny Cash and buffalo chicken pizza.
While college wasn’t always easy on their relationship, they always seemed to find a way back to each other.
Fast forward to 2015, Chris and Danielle fell in love with a puppy to rescue, fittingly named, Cash.
Cash immediately made himself known as the least behaved dog in the world. So, Chris began his career as an amazing dog trainer.
Chris and Danielle worked hard and put their roots down in Royersford, PA in January of 2022. Their home is one of a kind and is already filled with so much love. While it took almost 12 years for Chris to propose, he wanted a place to call their own first.
The couple has a connection that is undeniable. They focus every day on being the best versions of themselves and have so much pride in one another.
One thing Chris and Danielle know for sure, is that they would not be where they are today without the love and support from their closest friends and family.
