Danielle and Sean met each other back in 2014 while working at Gap Outlet in Vacaville. At the time Sean mainly worked in the stock room assisting with shipments whereas Danielle worked the sales floor as a new sales associate fresh out of college.

In the summer of 2016 they both were single, thus the casual flirting at work began. Eventually Sean came up to Danielle at work and asked if she would like to go to downtown Davis sometime to grab food and maybe watch a movie. Danielle of course said yes and on the way home from work called her best friend to share the news!

Although Danielle was so excited, she was also in denial that she had in fact just been asked out on date. “Maybe he just wants to hang out as friends” she told her friend to which they replied “shut up, it’s for sure a date!”. The “date” went great, they enjoyed dinner in the Thai Room at Sophia’s Kitchen and comically watched Sausage Party as it was the only movie playing at right time. Then they went to CREAM for ice cream sandwiches, which concluded the wonderful outing.

A couple weeks later, Sean asked Danielle out for a second date at Rockin’ Jump in Vacaville. This time Danielle had a hunch that Sean wanted to be more than friends and this was in fact a date. Danielle loved that he asked her to do something fun and out of the box, but was terrified she would embarrass herself. All went well as there were no injuries and the date even ended with their first kiss.

Instead of jumping into a relationship, Danielle and Sean opted to keep things casual as neither were looking for a serious relationship at the time, but they still continued to see each other for about a year.

In 2017, Danielle ultimately decided take the time to focus on herself and decide what she really wanted out of life. However come spring of 2018, Danielle found herself reminiscing about all the fun she had with Sean and realized how much she missed his presence in her life.

Danielle decided to reach out to Sean and see if he wanted to go to a Nightlife Event at The California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco. They attended the event and picked up right where they left off.

After their reunion Danielle and Sean continued to date through the summer often planning day trips or weekend getaways together as they loved getting away and exploring. They officially defined their relationship in October of 2018 and have never looked back!

In their past 6 years as a couple they have continued to support each other in everything they do, while still allowing each other to fully be themselves. You know it’s love when Sean goes country line dancing and Danielle agrees to go watch a 3 hour Anime movie in Japanese.

Their favorite thing to do as a couple is travel and explore, both domestically and most recently internationally.

Domestically they have explored:
Sacramento, San Francisco, Berkeley, Napa, Clearlake, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Santa Cruz, Aptos, and Monterey. Soon they will be adding Lake Tahoe to the list!

Internationally they have explored:
London, Paris, Florence, and Rome

For their Honeymoon they are hoping to go somewhere tropical like Cabo or Hawaii.

When they aren’t exploring new places together they enjoy date nights at home watching Netflix or Disney+ favorites such as Suits and Andor. They love all things Disney, Star Wars, and Harry Potter, how very millennial of them.

They also enjoy a good game night. Whether it’s cards, blank slate, board games or even heads ups. Their go to video game to play together is Mario Kart.
Fun fact: Sean taught Danielle how to play chess during the 2020 lockdown with a Star Wars chess set.

December 25th 2024, Sean asked Danielle’s Dad for permission and later that night when they got home Sean got down on one knee next to their tiny apartment Christmas tree and proposed to Danielle. It was the easiest yes Danielle ever said!

They look forward to celebrating their love with you all on this very special day and can’t wait to continue their journey through life together as husband and wife.
