Our Wedding

Shuttle Service

A shuttle to and from the wedding venue will be provided for our guests on the wedding day. The pickup and drop off point will be Hotel La Scaletta. Here is the shuttle schedule: To the Wedding3:45PM- From Hotel La Scaletta to Castello del Trebbio After the Wedding12:30AM- From Castello del Trebbio to Hotel La Scaletta1:30AM- From Castello del Trebbio to Hotel La Scaletta *If you would like to leave the wedding at any other times you will need to book your own transportation as seeing you cannot simply call a taxi when you are at the wedding venue

Transportation

Kris and Danielle both attended Christopher Newport University, in Newport News, Virginia, with Kris graduating in 2015 and Danielle graduating in 2018. Fast forward to the summer of 2019 and that is when Kris and Danielle would meet for the first time in Richmond, Virginia! While being introduced through mutual friends at Ardent Craft Ales, it was Danielle that pursued a further conversation with Kris through a DM ;) on Instagram that Sunday! Their first time going out for drinks would be at Wilsons Rooftop Bar in Clarendon, Virginia. After a few dates in both the Alexandria and Reston areas, Kris and Danielle began officially dating in the fall of 2019. After 2 years and through the pandemic, in the Fall of 2021, Kris would pack his things up and move to Alexandria with Danielle. Kris and Danielle would then get engaged in the Fall of 2023 in Old Town Alexandria, where Kris and Danielle have spent much of their time together over the years!

Renting a Car

International Driving Permit

If you are planning on renting a car, most places require an international driving permit, please see more information <a href="https://www.aaa.com/vacation/idpf.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a>! You can walk into a AAA Office/Store and complete in person within 15 minutes.
