Jacob and Danielle are high school sweethearts. On Danielle’s 18th birthday she was asked to hang out by a mutual friend where Jake was and they immediately hit it off. A few days later Jake told the friend to call her and ask to hang out to which she replied no. Then he got on the phone and asked her himself and she came straight away. From there Jacob and Danielle hung out every day. He finally gained the courage to kiss her which Danielle thought was a one time thing. Next thing she knows she is visiting him at his work and he comes out and infront of everyone kisses her for the second time. Danielle was shocked and so she said nothing and left to sit down to when Jake texted her “Did you not want me to do that?!” “I was just caught off guard!” she said. From that point on Danielle and Jacob were attached at the hip. Fast forward four years Danielle and Jacob are visiting their future home in Virginia Beach. Little did Danielle know Jacob had plans to propose. After a special few days exploring and spending quality time, the day arrived. August 19, 2020. They went on a romantic date to Ruth Chris Steakhouse to which Jake was so nervous he orders a whiskey on the rocks. Danielle has never seen Jake order something like that and was a little skeptical but thought nothing of it. They then went to the oceanfront to watch the sunset. Jacob had Danielle’s sister, Alex, call and distract her while he went to get someone on the beach ‘to take pictures of us’ but really be recording. As they were taking pictures the sun was setting on the other side of the beach but as Jake got down on one knee behind Danielle the sun began to set behind them making it the most beautiful sunset they had ever seen. They felt as if God was really looking out for them in that moment. Danielle turns around to grab Jake for another photo as Jake is getting on one knee and tears immediately fill her eyes as she realizes what was happening. This was the moment they both have been waiting for, for so long. As he puts her dream ring onto her finger they both knew this was exactly how it was supposed to be. Those once little 18 year olds are now getting married. We are so excited to continue our story with all of you!
