Our story started in 2007 when we were both 14 years young. Both of us loved to talk, especially on Instant Messenger. Actually, that's how we started dating. I found his screen name from mutual friends and we started talking every day and night. Matt asked me to be his girlfriend one night and I said yes! Of course it was a rough start, we were both very immature but we had something pretty special. We both really loved each other. Every month we dated he would make me romantic cards and we would always write each other notes and he would draw me pictures.

Fast forward a bit to Senior Year. We went to dinner at the Boat House restaurant (because it was a tradition at the time) and the entire dinner he wouldn't talk to me, I honestly thought he was going to break up with me that night. Instead we went outside in the pouring rain and ran to the truck, we sat there in silence because he was so nervous and we looked out at the rain and ocean. Finally, he asked me to marry him, I said yes but we both knew that it wouldn't be anytime soon. I would be going to college and we were still way too young.

Shortly after my first semester in college we unexpectedly moved in together. We were young and stupid and pretty miserable, but we made it through and lived in our small, 3 room apartment for 3 years.

Now we are grown ups (kinda). We have bought a home together and have stable jobs and have decided that now is the perfect time to finally get married. We are excited to start this next chapter of our lives together because no matter what has changed with growing up our love has grown even stronger.
