Elle and Tyler met at their dorm floor meeting in Elm Hall the day before the start of their freshman year at Colorado School of Mines. Tyler moved from Plainfield, IL to wrestle for the school while Elle came from Trophy Club, TX to play volleyball with her sister. The two hit it off right away and after their first date stargazing in mountains, they pretty much knew it was forever.

After 5 years of school, a few RMAC championships, and a knee surgery or two (maybe four), the duo took a two week camping trip around Iceland to celebrate their accomplishments and close the college chapter. On May 20th, a new chapter began!
