Where is the ceremony?
The Woodwinds in Branford, CT – 29 School Ground Rd, Branford, CT 06405
What time is the ceremony?
Ceremony starts at 4:30p.m. Please be sure to arrive 15 minutes prior to find a seat.
Is there a cocktail hour?
Yes! Cocktail hour will start directly after the ceremony, and come hungry! There will be plenty of delicious food and drinks.
Is there parking available at the wedding site?
Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue. You can also leave your car overnight, we just ask that you please pick it up in the morning.
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding Ceremony and Cocktail Hour will be held outdoors. Our ceremony will be on a patio stone. Our Reception is indoors. Please dress accordingly.
Do you have room blocks for any of the surrounding hotels?
Yes! We have room blocks at the Holiday Inn Express in Branford, CT with code HFW. You can see more information and how to book for our hotel blocks under the “Travel” tab.
Please note, you have until 8.6.24 to book within the block.
If the Hotel block is full, there are plenty of other great hotels near by. Check out travel section for more options or online.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
We regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!
Am I allowed to bring my children?
We love your little ones, but we have decided that our wedding will be an adult-only occasion.
What time should I arrive for your wedding ceremony?
We ask that you not arrive earlier than 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Arriving at least 15 minutes early to find a seat is suggested.
What time does the reception start?
6pm, directly after cocktail hour
Will you have an open or cash bar?
Drinks are on us, but the hangovers are on you! We will be having an open bar, so we better see you on the dance floor!
I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What’s the best way to let you know?
There will be an option to let us know when you electronically RSVP!
Is there an after party?
Our after party will be at the venue. We have the venue until 1 a.m! Yes, we said 1 a.m. We love to dance and hope you will stay up with us to keep the party and dancing going.
Is there a wedding hashtag?
Yes! For all you Usher fans – our hashtag is #DJGotUsFallingInLove. (Get it?) Please feel free to tag us, and add that hashtag to any of your photo posting.
