Q + A

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If your invitation says “and Guest” then yes! If not, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are kids invited?

We love your little ones, however, due to budget and space constraints we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only event with the exception of our bridal party.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

The wedding ceremony and reception will both take place outside. Please dress accordingly and bring a light jacket or shawl in case the weather cools down in the evening.

What Should I Wear? Is there a dress code?

Our dress code is Black Tie Garden Party — think elegant, colorful, and full of personality! Think of it as classic black tie with a playful, colorful twist to match the spring garden party setting. For Women: Floor Length or dressy midi-cocktail dresses are perfect! We encourage you to have fun with your outfits. Floral prints, colorful tones, and ruffles are encouraged! Please avoid wearing white (that one’s reserved!), and we’d appreciate guests skipping very dark or black outfits. Think flowy, colorful, and garden-chic. For Men: A nice suit is perfect and feel free to add a garden party twist to it with floral bow ties/ties, pastel pocket squares, or fun spring patterns. Since the wedding is black-tie and garden party themed, we encourage a balance of formal elegance and light, festive style. We kindly ask guests to lean into the garden party vibe by avoiding dark or heavy colors if possible. Have fun with your look while still keeping it black-tie appropriate! Most of all, dress to feel comfortable, confident, and ready to celebrate!!!

Are there colors we should avoid wearing to the wedding?

Yes! White and very dark colors are discouraged. We’re going for a colorful, festive garden-party vibe! We kindly request that guests avoid wearing white (save it for the bride!) and steer away from very dark colored or black outfits so we can keep the mood bright and joyful.

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Please arrive by [0:00pm] so you have time to find your seat before the ceremony begins promptly at 3:30pm.

Will transportation be provided?

A shuttle bus will be available from the hotel to the venue at 3:00pm on Saturday. This shuttle will also be returning to the hotel after the reception.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Yes, parking is available at the venue but we recommend you take the transportation we will be providing from the hotel. Shuttle service will run between the hotel and the venue before and after the event. More details will be posted closer to the date.

Do you have a hotel block?

Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at Luminary Hotel. Please mention our wedding when booking to get the discounted rate. See the “Travel” page for more details.

What’s the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by [Date] so we can finalize our guest list and seating arrangements. You can RSVP right here on our website!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Yes we do! Our registry is linked right here on our website under the “Registry” tab. Thank you so much for your love and generosity!
