Danielle and Eric met in 2005 at Howell Middle School North during Summer Camp. Eric was a camp counselor and Danielle was a "CIT" (counselor in training). They had a "thing" for one another but summer camp came to an end, Danielle went into High School at SJV and Eric into his senior year at Howell High School. They lost touch, except continued to facebook poke each other for 7 YEARS, back and forth! Fast forward to February 2012, Eric messaged Danielle on facebook to catch up. Low and behold, 2 weeks later, on March 4th, 2012, he drove down to Towson University, where Danielle was a junior to spend the weekend. The first time they had seen each other in over 7 years, he drove 2 and a half hours to see her. They started dating on September 22, 2012 -- 3 years later, the proposal came.

So the week leading up to the proposal, Kristi told Danielle she made reservations for them to go to dinner in Long Branch and have a night out by the beach before summer ended. (by "them" that means Danielle, Eric, Kristi, & Ryan... they basically do everything together) anyways, it all sounded great to her. Kristi told Danielle to dress cute because they want to take cute pictures by the beach, after all, it is the last weekend of summer and Kristi loves to take pictures, so she thought nothing of it. So on August 29th, they went to Long Branch as planned, went onto the beach to take pictures. Danielle snapped a bunch of pictures of Kristi and Ryan and then Kristi started taking pictures of Danielle & Eric. Danielle then started to walk away thinking the pictures were done and it was time to go eat. Eric goes "hold on, one more thing" and she turns back around and he got down on one knee.. she literally didn't believe him. She said "stop your joking", well he sure wasn't. It couldn't have been more perfect.
