Our Wedding

Danielle and Jack met Freshman year on the first day of high school in their first period class, Biology. At first they were just friends (or so Danielle thought). Around Junior year Jack worked up the courage to text Danielle. After a few short text exchanges (and some unanswered messages by Danielle), Danielle had decided to ask Jack to Girls Choice that year as a friend. Jack had such a good time that he wanted to see more of Danielle. Luckily for him, his family had just gotten a puppy - Rugby! Thanks to Rugby Danielle and her friends were happy to come by, from there the teenage romance began. Danielle and Jack started dating a few months later at 16 and 17 years old.

The following years included going away to college, meeting new friends, and gaining independence. Through it all their love for each other stayed true and they endured 4 years of long distance. After college the couple would go on to live in Wrigleyville with friends, partying their way through their early 20's (we miss you Kenmore). After that things changed quite a bit when Danielle decided to move to Boston for Optometry school. Luckily for her, Jack decided to chase her down and moved out East despite his love for home. These last few years Danielle and Jack created their own home with each other as they prepared for their future.

After 10 years of dating, Jack finally decided to drop on one knee and propose to Danielle on a rooftop in Chicago - where Danielle happily said yes! Finally the wedding day approaches and the couple can't wait to celebrate with you all!

What time do I need to be at ceremony? All guests should be seated in the Church prior to a prompt start time of 4:30pm Is there a dress code?Yes - the dress code is cocktail attire Is there a room block available? Yes - a room block has been reserved for the Chicago Marriot Northwest. Please visit 'Travel' tab for more details Are kids invited?Kids are welcomed to join us for the ceremony, however, as much as we love your little ones the reception will be an adults-only event. Please enjoy the night off parents! Can I bring a date?Please refer to your invitation for guest invites Will there be parking?Yes - plenty of free parking will be available both at St Paul of the Cross and at The Brix Will there be transportation provided? There will be bus transportation from the church to the reception. Please let us know if you will utilize this option in the RSVP!
