Brett and Danielle met on October 25th, 2024, at the rehearsal dinner for Danielle’s cousin’s wedding — a meeting that was anything but accidental. With both families, the bride and groom, the Pastor, and even the photographer in on the plan, it was the setup of all setups. Luckily, Brett and Danielle were totally on board — and the sparks flew instantly. Turns out, love at first sight is real (especially when over half of the guest list is rooting for it).

The next day, they spent time together at the wedding, where their connection truly began to grow. After the celebration, Danielle returned home to North Carolina, and the texting began. Within just a few days, they were already planning visits — and so began their long distance love story.

Over the months, their bond deepened, despite the miles between them. Then, on April 26th, 2025, during a beautiful day at Union Point Park in New Bern, NC, Brett got down on one knee and asked Danielle to marry him. She said yes!

Brett and Danielle were tired of long distance, and were incredibly blessed to find their first home in Erwin, Tennessee. On May 9th, 2025, Danielle made the big move to Erwin to begin this exciting new chapter.

The happy couple is now turning their house into a home as they prepare for the next milestone. Brett will move into their house after their wedding day- October 24th, 2025. They can’t wait to start their life together, surrounded by the love and support of their family and friends.
